A long time ago, I found a DDR simfile titled Airen by DJ Amuro. According to this page, the label is incorrect:
https://www.last.fm/music/D.J.Amuro/_/Airen
It says the label should be 藍煉の人形 by -45. When I search for that, I can find this BMS video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkzECSb5zUI
This is the same song, so I'm inclined to believe this is the real name & author. Further searching got me a link to this CD:
https://www.discogs.com/ja/-45-%E3%82%A2%E3%83%A0%E3%83%AA%E3%82%BF/release/8018473
I can't read Japanese, though, and I'm not at all familiar with BMS, so I haven't really learned much about where the song came from. Is it from an existing music game, or is it a particular artist who released this song independent of any games? Is 藍煉の人形 by -45 the correct label?
Thanks!

藍煉の人形 by -45 is correct. This and most of his songs were done for BMS song/file contests but he also appeared on CHUNITHM last year.

Thank you, that's very interesting. It's a good song, so it's nice to hear he's getting wider recognition.
It's kind of difficult to find information in English about these song contests. They're basically like the simfile contests here, except for an emulated version of IIDX, where people write their own music?
One other question. How would one translate or transliterate this? I assume Airen is not correct. Google Translate gives Blue Green Doll, which is presumably correct but has all the poetry of a beached whale.

This site provides a list of all these events. BMS Of Fighters is the biggest event and it's held annually. I can't find which event this song was a part of or if it even was in an event.

There are other sites that have host BMS events, though that one is the biggest one. This page has a more complete list of BMS events. That particular song does not seem to have been part of an event, and based on file names and what Google Translate is giving me, the proper romanization may be Airen no Ningyou.

Again, thank you both for the information!
