For now, it seems like BEMANI Sound Team (artist name) seems to be the compromise, judging from Nostalgia's last update with PON and the new Akhuta song in CANNON BALLERS.
My guess is that Konami is doing this to promote their in-house music staff? I dunno.

Either that, or the artists raised enough of a stink about not being properly credited so they and Konami reached a compromise. I hope it's that.

I would like to hope that Konami will eventually go back and credit the songs still uncredited in pop'n music and SOUND VOLTEX's vocal contest a couple of months later, but I doubt they will.

They did for the Pop'n songs on the site but the artist names are given along the lines of this:
BEMANI Sound Team "positive MAD-crew"

So the new GITADORA premium encore stage, Aion, lists its artist as BEMANI Sound Team "Anonymous". If it's anonymous, why even bother with saying anonymous? Just leave it as BST if you're going to use that!
...though i realize this could also be someone consciously trying to use an alias for this song, but it's still really clunky to just basically say Anonymous "Anonymous".

It has been speculated by some that "Anonymous" is just Asaki using this alias on purpose.

They're trying to fake us out.
This is the same guy that made a joke song. At least I felt like it was one.

At this point, I'm not sure if we could call this a conflict anymore.

I'm starting to think the whole "BEMANI Sound Team" alias thing is now starting to be used more just to promote the BEMANI brand and to distinguish the BEMANI composers from the commissioned ones.

Bing translation is faulty, but at least I can get something out of it.
Long story short: Someone asked the KONAMI management during JAEPO about the BST ordeal. Their answer was:
"Well, because we seem to have a huge increase in commissioned artists (especially the SDVX FLOOR ones), we wanted to differentiate the in-house artists from the former, but we've been trying to talk to everyone in BEMANI about this."

So either Konami's terrible at management and employee morale, or they're lying. Typical.
Don't forget that it wasn't just replacing the artist name with "Bemani Sound Team" at the beginning. They also took the time to non-trivially censor the whole artist name out of the song jackets and replace them with nothing, which couldn't possibly be "differentiating in-house artists from commissioned artists".

So they implemented this without even talking to all of the musicians? Nice going, Konami. Real nice."Well, because we seem to have a huge increase in commissioned artists (especially the SDVX FLOOR ones), we wanted to differentiate the in-house artists from the former, but we've been trying to talk to everyone in BEMANI about this."

The original tweet doesn't mention the "BEMANI" word on that reply at all. It's more like "Well, there are other things that will be discussed with everyone over time." (With "everyone" not being directed at the BEMANI musicians, but rather at the players/fans).Post #160 · Posted at 2018-02-10 06:42:05pm 6.2 years ago

"Huge increase of commissioned artists"
I'm calling BS on this. For one, Konami's always had a ton of commissioned artists, especially in Beatmania IIDX. For another, if they want to differentiate their team with other composers, they would have started doing this earlier. So many of the Bemani artists use many different aliases (Looking at you, Naoki) that I always found it difficult which songs were by who. The line between in-house and commissioned has always been pretty thin. Saying that it's only started now is bullshit and they know it.
