Hi guys!
I'm just throwing this out to the internet, and I think this community would be a great place to ask:
Would anybody be willing to help me create a DDR PC Music theme for stepmania? I can help design graphics and everything else, just programming things I would need help with. I was thinking of just skinning the fanmande DDR A theme, because I like the square artworks! Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Please describe your idea for a theme in more detail.

So, ideally I'd like to build a completely new theme that embodies the PC Music idea, and I wanted to visually base the theme off of the HEY QT music video. Bubbly and effervescent, it would contain the same framework and functionality as any other theme would. However, I like the setup of the DDR A theme that was fan made.I figure if I just re-designed all of the resources, I could use that as a theme. I've made "DDR" edits of many PC music songs, and even made some cuts for menu music. I'd love some help getting from the idea to the doing if possible. Does that answer your question?

Designing and making a theme is a big commitment. It can take many months, if not years to successfully make a theme.
If this doesn't scare you off, your best bet is to start trying to make the theme, yourself. I believe that many/most of the people who know how to make themes for SM5 either:
A. are preoccupied making themes of their own, or
B. aren't currently interested in making new themes for SM5
I guess I can point you to this reply in this particular thread and wish you good luck with your endeavor.

I'm with dbk2. Start by learning to replace graphics, sound effects, and music. If your concept has promise people may be willing to help you code it.
