I love playing stepmania on a Pad and would really think these songs would be fun and fresh, its just that I suck at making them.

Just saying, making a chart really is not that hard; it just takes time and practice. I genuinely don't expect anyone to go out of their way to make these charts for you, so I highly suggest you try making them yourself. Even if they are bad, if you know what is bad about the stepcharts, you know what to fix.

Everyone sucks at making simfiles the first time they try it. It's a learning process, just like anything else. If you want to get better, just ask for tips and suggestions and I'm sure someone will help.

Woah, hey I'd love to start trying to make charts,I just wanna see how people put steps to these songs. Because I wouldn't be able to do it any justice. I play a lot on the pad, a more so on the more radio hits. But any tips on how to go about making step charts?

Stepcharts are interesting enough to make. What are the difficulties you have regarding making them? Do you have trouble syncing? Cutting the songs? Patterns?

Several users here (myself, chewi, pie-kun, etc) frequently step "radio hits," feel free to look at some of our charts for inspiration & whatnot.

To be honest. I don't really know anything about it. But I wanna be able to transfer and play them on Stepmania 3.9 without crashes. Other than that, I have absolutely no experience or knowledge even in making charts. is there a post on here with a bunch os tools or something?

I'd recommend using Stepmania 5 instead of Stepmania 3.9, it's more up-to-date.

There are plenty of guides to help you get started on various websites. To start practicing, you can take songs that already have charts and make your own edits to them, eventually moving onto creating your very own simfiles from scratch! At least, that's what I did around ten years ago.

Since you want to play your charts in 3.9, I will make them using 3.9 so there won't be any problems with using them in it. I'm really glad to hear that you're excited to play the charts; I'm excited to make them!

Team Radiations charts have some pretty ridiculous mods on their charts TT. I cant figure out how to turn them off to see if i can even try to memorize them.

go to this chart's folder, open the .sm file on notepad and remove #FGCHANGES: (everything that has mods)

My example is the DDR Challenge Series. When I first started making the song pack, I was extremely inexperienced, so I made a lot of mistakes making the song pack, so if you were to download the first version of DDR CS, you'd probably dislike most song packs due to bad synergies with songs and paterns that leave the player backwards. Up to this date, a few charts keep standing to be fixed later, but there were charts in which I had to do a complete do over due to how terrible they were. The worse I could get was MAX 300 Challenge Special, which was an X-22, but it had very... bad steps. More specifically, out of order, impossible to perform without double-steps, and pretty much, too sharp of difficulty considering the state of DDR as a whole. CS aims to make songs harder while at least making them fun. If I have an idea, and it synergizes well with the song, I keep it, and later on test it to make sure that there are no turn problems.

You can start with that as advice for pad songs, but if you want to do songs for kb... then knock yourself out with everything stepmania's got. The official MAX songs for CS will get a fix which do this, so be creative and try to use every type of note-- lifts, mines, fakes, rolls, create chaos for your players. Stepmania lets you do everything.

As for me, I'm working on a song pack for all of Pokemon Conquest's songs, and I might get the time to shorten the songs if neccessary (if you want them at DDR length). I think I have the skill to at least get a 6-10 out of 10 from you.
