How convenient, there's a file I'm working on that actually has a hint of Cirno.

I'd like to sign up for this little contest thingy.
Can't promise I'll step something every week but I'll try my best.

I should join one of these someday. I won't join this one- I don't have a dancepad to test stuff at the moment, plus I've been busy and I haven't stepped anything since late last year. I'll probably linger in the shadows and check this out to learn a few things, though.
I guess with that, good luck to everyone participating. I hope to see some ⑨ here.

I'll join in as well.
Also a quick question, can I use warps for this contest or not?

Add me to the list of people that conveniently happen to have an unreleased simfile rated a 9 sitting around. Multiple files, actually. I'll have something ready by tonight for sure.
Warps are fine, but PLEASE use warps responsibly! Also keep in mind that warps don't work the same way in 3.9 as they do in SM5 (3.9 does some really funky business with negative BPM values), so a file made in SM5 with warps won't work correctly in 3.9. So if you're going to use warps, either make a second version of the file without the warps so it's compatible with SM3.9 or put up a warning that says SM5 ONLY or something.

@Oni-91 How will you go about judging if a file is actually a 9 and not an 8 or 10 or x-scale 14 or whatever (I assume you and Feraligatr will be the ones to pass/fail files here)? Seems pretty tough to draw a hard line, do you have something like reference files with "correct" difficulty ratings? It's probably not an issue unless people want to be dicks, but I feel like there's the risk of unnecessary arguing going down this road, since "difficulty" is hard to measure in an objective way. Actually, I can imagine people getting the difficulty rating on their files very off even though they aren't trying to cheese the rule. How lenient will you be here?

There's nothing in place to DQ, but I assume that anyone who tries to BS it in is going to get some low marks because of under/overrating their files. I know that the boundary is a blurry one, which is why I'm putting it in as the first round.

This avatar was totally planned for this round since I registered 5 years ago.
Probably not stepping a cirno remix because I haven't found one that lets me do the things I really want to do with my charts (which seems to be 'lose' but hey).
Uh, for...reasons...down the line, would something made primarily for 3.95 be ok (presumably with a 5 version too for people without it)? >_>

Vote sheets are ready! VIP Room members will be filled as weeks go by, and it'll be shown in the leaderboard if they're through.
Question: How is the winner determined?
- Total amount of vote points across all weeks (including VIP Room weeks)
- Total amount of vote points on the VIP Room weeks only
- Total amount of leaderboard points across all weeks (including VIP Room weeks)
- Total amount of leaderboard points on the VIP Room weeks only
Currently it only says "the most points at the end of VIP Room will be declared the winner of the 2017 Summer Contest", so anything is possible.
