I love how nicely StepMania 5 runs and it's easy to find what you're looking for, but that yellow overtone is repulsive. What do you recommend for a different skin or theme?

Well I recommend getting to the StepMania 5 Transcendence theme. I heard that it was a really good theme and it automatically removes the background video that could causes lag and it's a good theme for slow computers.

If you want to go classic, check out madkat's DDR 3rd mix theme, it's still a work in progress, but a really good theme overall. Or if you want to go modern, check out the DDR X3 vs 2nd mix theme by inorizushi, also a WIP theme, but really good.

For the theme, i'd prefer waiei2 or the SuperNOVA 3 theme Inorizushi made.

If you're looking for an ITG-style theme, Simply Love is really good.
Gonna link to jousway's other noteskins as well just so there's more options out there.

Excellent. Thank you very much for all the suggestions everyone. I will try out these different themes to see which one I like best as soon as I get my PC up and running! You guys are terrific helpers!

If you want to play on pad, i suggest either the DDR X2 theme or DDR A theme, both by kenp. Ace is WIP, but still runs perfectly and works great. As for noteskins, i just like to use any DDR NOTE skins they have on here.
