Based on my post on the previous thread, how do you have those X3 characters (as shown in the video)?

to be honest, it's less source code and more what the theme looks like on my end, it has every single thing that I have in my own copy both for archival purposes and for the general public to see behind the scenes of the next release.

The source code link in GitHub refers to compiled projects, Stepmania is Open Source and the content is distributed "as is" so, in this case the source code will be the actual Inori version, the most recent and probably unstable respect to the releases.

It's been a slow two days, I've mainly been busy reworking some stuff.
2ndMIX Gameplay is inching closer and closer to completion.

The Pro Mode selection uses dumped graphics now and is almost fully animated (text glow needs to be added)

The overall size of the theme should go down now that i've re-encoded the intro movies and the BGMs

Man. I didn't know 2nd mix had Lucky Star in it...
But anyways. Keep up the good work. I would contribute.. But i have no knowledge in this..
3.95 Themeing doesn't mix well with Stepmania 5 themeing..

Select Style is getting a re-vamp.
It currently uses dumped graphics and has the correct handling for when a 2nd player joins in.

I appreciate what you're doing here, and I wish nothing but the best on the project.
Have you considered making the 2ndMIX Mode its own theme entirely? Or is it Strictly X3 Business? I've always enjoyed themes based on older titles (pre-jacket), so I've gotta ask.
No matter what, I look forward to diving in when all is said and done.

Pretty much everything 2ndMIX related uses its own files and scripts so it'll be relatively easy to pull all the code out and make a 2ndMIX theme if anyone ever decides to
UPDATE
Here's all the progress that has been made on 2ndMIX mode as of now.
Highlights:
- Difficulty Select is fully functional (sans the maniac code) and actually reacts to what difficulty you're choosing.
- Mods are LOCKED in 2ndMIX mode, even if you apply mods, the game will reset to 1x and no freeze arrows.
- Gameplay out sorta works now.
(video's been fixed, sorry for that)

Looks great! Would be great if 2nd Mix Mode could automatically enable classic characters if they're available, but I'm not sure how difficult that would be. Could be impossible without modifying the SM code since characters have always been an afterthought.
Funnily enough, we'd actually be closer to an HD re-creation of 2nd Mix if we used the classic characters, as X3 uses the SN dance moves rather than the classic ones.
