I found a Dao for $50.

I just picked up a DJ Dao IIDX controller for only $50 at the thrift store. Amazing find, though I don't really play IIDX. Daos usually go for over $200 before shipping online so, I've definitely saved a lot. This great discovery definitely warrants a thread.

I really want a DAO controller (or at least a usb KOC) but i've been searching throughout the internet and the lowest cost with shipping are $150.

I'd save for a DAO, knowing that it'll last you a lifetime, and never lose any of it's value, if you decide to get out of the hobby, further down the road. I'm playing with a Konami ASC, and the lack of analogue turntable and switchable buttons is really starting to push me towards ordering a DAO, the moment I find somebody to combine shipping with.

Being somebody that goes to thrift stores frequently for plunder like this, hats off to you. The closest I ever found was Beatmania US in the box for $20! That's nothing short of amazing. What state did you find it in if you don't mind my asking?
