After cutting a couple measures and making a better fade out, I think the song (and the charts) turned out okay. I considered making a chart too, but I didn't want it to turn into a boring stream-fest.

On another note, I'm wondering what kinds of things people seemed to have a problem with in Total Stranger. While there were a couple short comments, I'm not entirely sure what else was lacking or unfitting in your opinion(s). May I request feedback from those who have voted? If you have any comments or pieces of advice that are a little more specific than the things that have been said, please shoot me a PM. Much thanks to those who oblige

From my first play of it, it seemed like the song limited what you could do. I wasn't really able to get into any flow with , and I don't think the jump-step 16ths (or step-jumps?) were necessary on . I've only analyzed one file but yours will be the next I look at, there's some I definitely need to check before I think it's right to vote.

Bump: Looked at the , , and charts through edit mode. The first two, I think are good for what they are, the only blatant problem I found was an unresolved spin around the middle of standard (b176-180) and most likely not everyone's even going to play that chart.

Challenge, on the other hand, seemed like it blended the percussion (including the very chaotic snare drum) and vocals in a bizarre fashion and certain parts seemed overstepped. It struck me the same way Nezemarth's Maybe (We Should Call It A Day) did. Some charts that overstep the song's boundaries, I actually find myself enjoying, but I just wasn't enjoying this chart in particular. But this is just my personal opinion, and I still think you did the best you could with what you have to work with.

I thought it would be pretty clear that the warp went with that *blip*/*shoop* sound (don't know what you'd call that) there but I guess not. I just felt that it was fitting idk.

As for the slowdown at the end, the background sounds dissipate at exactly that 8th, leaving only the piano, so that's where I put the slowdown, simply.

But I see where everyone's coming from: the warp is very unpredictable and could've been done without, the forced doublesteps are admittedly poorly done, and my rhythm and patterning choices lack consistency and could be better. I procrastinated on the file; some of the forced doublesteps were added literally minutes before the deadline and weren't play tested sufficiently, but that's not much of an excuse.

I just wanted to change things up because it seems like my files haven't been doing well because nothing stood out about them. I'll stick with simplicity and hope for the best for now.

Speaking from experience, that absolutely never works.

Oh, and, one more time - The 780 is just meant to be a warp. You hit the arrow you hit before the freeze that lasts through the warp, on the next beat after the warp. It really isn't that hard.

Also, to everyone who hasn't played my file yet - just because Konami games don't have CMods doesn't mean StepMania doesn't. You've the option. I use it on sightreads, you should too. Especially if the number "780" just triggers a gag reflex.

Oh, God no. Play it the way it's intended to be played. If it's janky on non-Cmod, it's also the simmer's fault for writing crap gimmicks.

The 8th note gap just might be enough to lower the trouble reading the "warps" that players that don't like C-Modding will have.

On both examples, the down arrow at b109 will still successfully land on s25.170 in the song if you decided to do this. It'll give the player at least some reaction time.

This file is crazy and has a number of faults and all but I honestly still kind of like it.

20/20 hindsight as always.

I'm pretty sure that the above is not the recommended way to create warps, use negative bpms instead. It's cleaner and easier to time correctly

Or you can use Warp Beats in SM5. Though I think majority aren't using it. Negative BPM is still a cool option rather than warping with 5-digit BPM and more since it'll render it offsync for some milisecond.

And well, I think I just wasted my veto back then and I don't have any of it now so... Rip me.

But I think I'll just cast votes for my contribution this week. Also a possible review I think? I never done that before.

Judged off of the , , and charts this round. Rough round for sure... Aishiteru, Total Stranger, and invoker very likely wouldn't have picked up my points if they were cast in a stronger round like Round C.

The color you used on the doc is very light, and I am having problems reading it. I had to copy and paste it into Microsoft Word and make the text a darker color to see what you wrote.

So, I will not be finished with my Round E simfile this week
but don't be sad the guy who submitted that Dragon Ball GT theme song! I will submit it to my own category That's how I got disqualified in the first place, because of that song and of course.... I didn't even played all the charts and I cried so hardly!!

In general, I will gonna vote who's simfile is the best by playing all the files because rules are rules!

Hey, no hard feelings, saulius. Just remember next time to check out everyone's work. My first-play session for this round took me about 3 hours, and that was with 3 difficulties. It's very likely it would've taken an hour if I settled on the charts only. Simfile Shuffle is usually very tame with its number of submissions. On average, each round has about 14 submissions, and I've never seen a round with more than 20.
