During my years of activity in arcades in my area, I'd often hear people play Maware Setsugetsuka quite often. Is there something about this song that makes it so memorable?
Apologies if this thread has been made too many times before.

Because in the chorus you literally have to spin in the chart (Maware = spin).
It also happens in japanese discos like Mogra when DJs put this song. It's so funny.

Not just the chorus, the whole chart is littered with spin opportunities. It looks so cool once you've got it all figured out.

The chorus is a massive ear worm.

Yep, the fact that it is an anime song makes it even more popular...

It's one of the easiest 10s in RB. Catchy song, I also like the remix in RB and jubeat plus.

Because it starts with an Armin van Buuren song
I mean, oh cool now I actually get the joke. Yeah, it is a pretty good song.

I legitimately wonder how it got popular before Bemani. What warranted them to pay for the license? Is it somehow linked to Konami? Maybe it was some partner deal to help market the anime, but I'm just making up theories.
I liked Unbreakable Machine Doll in the sense that it needed more content. The current "ending" (minus OVAs) was really meh. Yes, sequels are a thing, but it didn't even feel like the last arc ended. It's like "it's cool, we're gonna get this fight... eventually. *done*"

The ear-worm chorus of the song is to blame.
