"But enough talk! Have at you!" |
Is there a way to keep StepMania from complaining when things have similar names?
(I blanked out the theme name in the image)

That's because you need to declare a suffix or use the file extension, for example instead of use "AAA", name "AAA.png" or add a suffix like "AAA_jugdement" Try to use more detailed file names with the tips that I've suggested

They're folder names, but I'll try adding _judgement...

Are you trying to use LoadActor() to load the default.lua in folders with names like AA and AAA?
If so, MadkaT's suggestion still holds – you need to be more specific with your filepath. Try:
LoadActor( "./AAA/default.lua" )
instead of just
LoadActor( "AAA" )
Does that make sense?

This is what's inside the folders:
A/some image with a random name.png
A/another image with a random name.png
This is the code I'm using for it: http://pastebin.com/y7N8XhF0

Then your best option is to add a suffix to the folder name like "AA_judgement"

If you are loading it out of the Graphics folder, you can do a two-part call, which SM understands.
LoadActor(THEME:GetPathG("_judgement", "AA")) .. {
