Note that BeatStream is absent from the game list.

SOUND VOLTEX will have the usual song contest with this KAC as well, although probably the songs will end up all going on Heavenly Haven.

This means both good and bad news for me!

The good news is that with this on the horizon, we're inching closer to the release of all the new installments of our favorite BEMANI games, like The Reflesia of Eternity; Usagi to Neko to Shounen no Yume; Re:EVOLVE; and Heavenly Haven!

The bad news is that since BeatStream wasn't included as a game in this championship, that means it's most likely going to be booted by KONAMI soon...(Which to me means that Kimi to Watashi no Ongaku will never have its crossover into Pop'n Music despite having Alt's Pop'n Music 18 sprites in the video...(|[*'n'*]|)
Oh well, I guess I can say BeatStream was fun while it lasted! I'll never forget BisCo!

It's possible that it was just a mistake. And it's also possible that the upcoming new versions of games will be coming up before KAC starts proper, which would be nice (especially for SDVX and Gitadora).

Kimi to Watashi can still have a chance even if Beatstream is dead.
Midori No Kaze is gonna be on Nostalgia, despite KBM being dead.
PPP and DMX had their songs get put in DDR EXTREME and DDR SUPERNOVA, even tho PPP and DMX were lik, dead by the time these 2 games came out.

Still hoping Konami would still include Disney Tsum Tsum on KAC as I have a friend who plans to join it.

Site has been updated.
DDR has a North American Block. No sign of BeatStream still.

Also, IIDX has a doubles division now. It's about time, I'd say, although it feels strange that DDR doesn't get one either. Most of the IIDX qualifying songs are already up too.

12/21/2016: Preliminaries begin for jubeat.
1/12/2017: Preliminaries end.
2/11/2017: Finals for DDR, MUSECA, pop'n, SOUND VOLTEX, Mahjong Fight Club, QMA.
2/12/2017: Finals for IIDX, GFDM, jubeat, REFLEC BEAT.

There's no info at all on pop'n and Sound Voltex's qualifiers; it looks like they're waiting for the version updates before they post anything on them.

Something else I noticed while reading all the information: It looks like, with the exception of MFC (Hong Kong and Macau only) and QMA, as long as you possess the following:
A) a valid KONAMI ID,
B) a valid e-AMUSE pass with data for a given game, and
C) the ability to travel to Chiba for the finals
you are able to participate in KAC preliminaries. Nowhere does it say (with the exception of the not-rhythm games) that it's limited to Japan or Asia only.

Caution:

DDR A: only 2 players per region (Japan, Asia and USA) with 2 higher EX score of 2 assigned songs enters to the finals!!! If any player is abstent, standby finalists will be selected from Japan region.
