[Looking For] Wii Hottest Party Menu BG Videos

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has the menu background videos from the Hottest Party games? The best I can get is running my Wii through my recording software but I can't get a good full loop of each of the menu background videos.

Just to clarify I mean the videos that run behind the music select wheel/the main menus, not the game play videos.

Hope someone can help me out or suggest a way which I could use my discs to get the videos.

There are videos from HP 5 (DDR II) but not from the other versions.

Thanks for that. I'm actually looking for the menu background videos though, not the videos played during the songs.

The Hottest Party series doesn't use videos for the UI background, they are animated sprites, the only way to get them is capture them, but the looping point is too long, and the videos would be bigger, you could dump the sprites and recreate the video in an editor, or rip a small part and use some tricks to do the loop part, I've tried that with HP2 and this was my conclusion I've made a faded version of that BG if you like it.

Ah ok, I had never thought that it could be that, makes sense. I believe SuperNOVA had the same sort of system for its background too. If you've got the HP2 background somewhere it would be greatly appreciated.

I think what I'll have to end up doing with HP1 and HP3 is to convert my discs to play on the PC and then somehow turn off the UI - I've read online that it's apparently possible.

Yes, the BG's are coded like Supernova series, they could be recreated, but that will not be so easy. They need some special settings, I have a regular pc (An I5 with an Intel HD card) but the games are not running so good, the gampleay is so laggy sometimes. I've been started the base for the Wii themes from an old HP2 version that I've made for SM3.x when I've started trying to learn SMTheming, of course, I have the BGVideo that I use for that theme, I will finish it later, with that theme HP1, HP2, and the Disney theme for the wii could be done I will search it in my PC and share the video.

I've got a really good PC for work, so I'll try to do something with it when I can and I'll get back to you. Oh nice, I'd never seen a Wii theme for SM before at all!

SM5, the original version I've made on 3.9 like 7 years ago, but I don't use it, then I've ported my rips to SM5.
