Guys, the BEnama had so much cool reveals regarding this new Pop'n Music game, and I'd like to share them all with you!

First of all...introducing "Navi-Kun"! The titular "boy" in this game, he is Mimi and Nyami's new friend. He acts as a system voice and a guide character to help new players navigate the world of Pop'n Music. You can't play as him. I've got a feeling he'll soon become a mainstay NPC in the series!


Next up is Pisce! She's the first all-new character we're seeing. I really like her, and she's very pretty!


Third up...seems like some old characters are coming back with new designs! Or, could these be all-new characters? It looks like Reo-kun (BARK BARK MARTEN), Dave, Mary/Tourmaline/Rave Girl, and I'm not sure who the fourth is. Maybe a total newbie?


AND, last but not least, the song selection interface seems to flash back a bit to Pop'n Music 12-Sunny Park's interfaces, where the songwheel was on the left. But, it still retains the rival character's portrait on the right.


Feels like the hype has been turned up to 11! Aw, man, I am TOTALLY excited for this!!

Also, notice that this new Pisces,character is for a new zodiac song by wac, Alrescha.
Last, Navi-kun will actually transform depending on his status.
On the screen you can see his "nekketsu" evolution (hot-blooded). There is 5 parameters, fire (nekketsu?), love, poison, light, and another one I can't remember.
These parameters increase after playing all songs depending on the song type you played (I'm guessing hard-core gabba song would be poison and then love songs are for love)
Considering it's on the result screen, Navi evolution is probably going to be linked to song unlock as well I guess

Mary, Rave Girl, and Tourmaline are all the same character...just with different names and color schemes.

Mary is normal, Rave Girl is her "disco glow" persona, and Tourmaline is her "monochrome" blue/orange persona.

They are NOT the same character. They all share similar designs, but they're all completely different characters. One of Rave girl's bios on the official websites even mention she's related to tourmaline.

Really? I know in the character select screens they are seen as separate entities from "Mary", but I always thought they were just all representing the same "person", but listed three times under her different "alter egos"...

I apologize if my prior post came across as unclear to you.

Isn't the selection cheating a little bit for what is labeled as a "BEMANI NEW FACE" contest? I mean, we've already seen Flying Kite with Sunny Park's Procyon no Kishidan and its song sequel for eclale after all...

(not that I'm complaining though, glad that he/she's back)

Maybe just newer artists in general? Endorfin and あるふぁ have been around with a few songs, too (although not necessarily since Sunny Park)

Here's hoping Chilt produced another song for this contest! His Twitter mentioned that he's working on a song entitled "Electric City • Voyager" - if it ends up in this game, I'll freak! (|[>U<]|)

Also, I'm really digging the initial songlist so far. Probably my favorite since Sunny Park's.

Well, thanks to a Korean YouTuber, and the infamous PURURUN1210 and NIGHTMARE, videos of Pop'n Music 24 have finally surfaced onto the web and I got to hear all the songs! Here are a few of my favorites:





And my absolute favorite so far, with its "BREAK DOWN!" samples as heard in Wuv U and MLG AIRHORNS:


So far, I still prefer éclale's song list, but that might change as this game goes on.
I'm excited to see how the unlock event goes! I have a feeling it'll be similar to Pop'n Star Maker, éclale's unlock system.
The only thing I am disappointed at is the BEMANI crossovers, or the lack thereof. éclale had 2 or 3 from the start, and they were from "older" games; this only has the Help Me, ERRRRIIIIINNNN!!! VENUS mix from the recent Sound Voltex and Reflec Beat games.

Now, my wishes for this game...
•Characters to return: Betty, Whip, Pochiko, Sergei, Space Maco, Nico. They all need new songs.
•BEMANI crossovers to happen: Going My Way (WE NEED BONUS IN POP'N), Flip Flap (why hasn't it yet?), Emera (it would work really well in Pop'n, also it's by PON which gives it a high probability of getting crossed over...Also, the OST booklet would FINALLY STATE ITS REAL LYRICS. Nothing against tuh me sa re-e-e-are, Marten. ), and most importantly KIMI TO WATASHI NO ONGAKU. Why do I say "most importantly"? It's not just because of my Alt obsession.
If it doesn't get crossed over, or if there isn't a new ALT song or Chilt song with her as the character (WHICH I WOULD LOOOVE), it will break the chain of there being a new ALT song in each game since Sengoku Retsuden.
Think about it...

Pop'n 21: SEITEN Bon Voyage (vocals and cameos on MZD's animations)

Hence why there should be a new ALT song. (|[*'v'*]|)
•Artists I want to see with new songs: Seiya Murai with a non-Otoca D'or track; TOMOSUKE; kors k with an original Pop'n track; Usaoline (artist of Mahou no Kinomi from éclale); CHILT (he did rumor about a new song called "Electric City • Voyager" by him; here's hoping it makes it into this game )
