This song is confirmed to be a license. Will you put it under the Licenses category or keep it in the New Konami Originals section in the database?

I'll keep it in KO, seeing it's a KO sections in both SN2 AC and SN2 CS JP.

It's in the license section of the list on SN2 CS US.

But should it be there? Who is Yasuhiro Abe anyway? I've heard that he's done something for IIDX (or it could have been GF&DM)...

Dream of Love is also listed with the licenses in SN2 CS NA but in other versions, it's listed as a Konami Original (like Volcano).

To be fair, I think in SN2 CS NA, all songs in yellow just indicates INITIAL songs rather than LICENSES.

His first playable song surfaced recently in DJ TROOPERS, where he contributed radius.
Way back though he did a remix of D.A.N.C.E! on the beatmaniaIIDX RED V-RARE.

Even if he doesn't work for Konami, it could still be a KO. They could have just hired him to do it

As a matter of fact, he does work for Konami
His profile is listed on http://bmf.i-revo.jp/artists/yasuhiro_abe/index.html
eventhough wikipedia said that he started his career way before bemani was founded

He was an artist before joining Konami. That is possible.

I thought the only song he did for IIDX was radius for IIDX DJ TROOPERS

It's the only playable song he's done, unless there was a pseudonym on 9th Style I wasn't aware of.
I'm not sure where that 9th Style claim comes from; my first knowledge of his involvement in beatmaniaIIDX was in the RED V-RARE.
