That's exactly how to make me more stressed than I was before playing, instead of helping me relieve stress. Machines out there must know a thing or do, especially those Raw Thrills cabinets
Also...
... when the cabinet crashes as you start a certain song?

That's basically 9/10ths of the DDR experiences you'll have if you live in Britain.

Ha... reminds me of the time my arcade moved all the dance machines against a new wall. They wired it so that, a little too frequently, everything against the wall sporadically went out at the same time. Whoops.

When you realize the arcade closes early on a particular weekday and you arrive to see people playing, but the tokens machine turned off?

When a kid steps on the pad with you and you have to break your full combo to not kick them with your feet

Same, except I'd replace "break your full combo" with "fail the entire round" because that's what always happens to me Post #11 · Posted at 2016-09-17 02:52:20am 7.6 years ago

Literally any time you get excited to play DDR but then play your first song and realize that the pad is absolutely garbage.
We've all experienced that.

This happens to me when I play jubeat, but I hope this happens to you when you play DDR.
When you're on a perfect/EXC run, then you start screwing up towards the end of the song. It happened to me when I was just about to EXC DANCE ALL NIGHT (in Advanced). Recalling that moment still makes me salty until now.

I'd just keep playing regardless of whether I kicked them or not. Not my fault. Either they're old enough to know not to run on or they're too young to not have their parents there, and in that case, they should take responsibility for it instead of me who clearly ain't looking.

"Sleep cancelled due to COVID-19." |
I've had two "ARGH!" events, both in Stepmania on Dance Pad:
1st: Trying to Full Combo MAX 300. I always get one miss somewhere and it's driving me nuts.
2nd: I once was trying to pass a seven minute long song, and about halfway through it, my windows decides that my computer really needs to update. Yes, while I was playing. I had a few words. Most of which were screaming incoherently.
