I use DDR X noteskins that I got from this thread:
http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewthread.php?threadid=4920
But for some reason I don't get any other arrows besides 1/4 1/8, 1/12 and 1/16. Everything else uses the same colors as those four. I saw this video and noted that it has noteskins with a color I am missing on the left side, orange:
Why is that? Do I need a new set of noteskins? I just want the Vivid, Flat, Note and Rainbow arrows that have been used up until DDR A, complete with shock arrows in place of the mines, as seen in the noteskins I linked.

If you edit the "_Down Tap Note 8x8" in DDRX-NOTE, you can change the colors of the arrows, including making 32nds orange.
What I want more than that is for hold notes to be colored like the other notes too. Is that freeze a below the 24th burst a 16th or a 12th? (well, it's 12th, but you can see why it's a little confusing...)

That's because DDR only uses 4 colour of notes, all up from 1/16 are all green. That noteskis in the video are custom noteskins, but is easy to change, you only need to change the hue of every row, getting something like this:

You get a different color for every note, but you lost the DDR accuracy when you play on a real arcade or with a Noteskin set with emulates the oficial DDR like in the actual noteskins that you are using

You could use the berrylicious note arrows, that are based on the Sm 3.9 noteskins, or customize your actual noteskins to look like the screenshoot that I've posted, is not so hard to do.
