I hear people complaining all the time about the Groove Radar stepcharts, most notably about D2R's highly complex turns and Dead End's, well... complete hilarity, to put it lightly. Furthermore, I've seen many sarcastic responses to these charts, some in the form of a stepchart themselves.
But I have not heard anyone say that they can make better charts while still retaining their Groove Radar character.
So I'm throwing out this question: can you make alternative charts for the Groove Radar Specials that still contain features they are to have?

Oh my god.
I just made one yesterday! XD
Fascination MaxX -Groove Radar Special-
Take that in for a moment before I unleash its fury on the world...
If its for Stepmania then yes, its not too hard as I found out yesterday. In the DDR games, the original FAXX Expert chart registers a little bit in Chaos. In Stepmania however, its considered maxed out. I only had to add jumps and freeze arrows to complete the GR Special. My Groove Radar Special is only slightly harder than FAXX Expert as I made the special from that.
If it's for DDR, its impossible as they seem to change the factors for each element in each game. What looks like a Groove Radar Special in one game could be discombobulated in another.

Why not AM-3P (AM east mix) I created a groove radar special for it.

Only 15 downloads as of now, but for those who haven't played my edit for Xenon, I made it so the groove radar is maxed out (in StepMania). It's not too hard really, and I can full combo it.
Also, someone made a purposefully-super-gimmicky "Cutie Chaser: Groove Radar Special" on BMS.

Oh great, now you've reminded me of DEAD END (Slightly Less Retarded Edit)...thanks. Anyway, I've not exactly tried to do a real GR special, as it's damn difficult to make every attribute 1.0...wait, I'll try to do one.

But you're right. On Extreme 2 and I think Extreme AC, crossovers register as Chaos, but on SuperNOVA AC, those same songs have a lot less Chaos, sometimes none.

I think the B4U and B2U ones were pretty good.

I don't like B4U. I mean seriously, you have to do THAT to get Voltage? WTF?
As for B2U, the chart's good, but it's not really a Stream special. When I think stream, I think the B4U (B4 ZA BEAT MIX) mission on Extreme US.
Dynamite Rave was stepped well. So was AM-3P.
D2R could have used a few more freeze arrows, especially on Doubles.
Dead End...I won't bother commenting.

Are we talking about pad, keyboard, or controller here?
I know I can't do pad and I don't have SN2 JP.
On the keyboard I have both AA'd and I can get A's consistently when I play it

am-3p is pretty bad in the beginning but gets better when it isnt just a 16th run of the same chart.
d2r and dynamite rave were boring.
b4u and b2u were really good IMO.
dead end is bad note placement, but the rhythms are perfect so i'm torn on whether or not its terrible or decent.

Pluto ''Groove Radar Special'' Is a good idea. I would love to make that too.
I would also make CHAOS ''Groove Radar Special'' then.
