I really like the idea! I've never participated in a DDR tournament before!

Just want make sure: you can only enter 1 division if you choose to participate? I can't recall anything from the video off the top of my head.

Personally I don't see the point of a girls-only division. Seen quite a few female players that can easily hang with the guys.

Didn't forget, as far as I know, UK only has a test location that I believe it won't be around long enough to see the conclusion of the tournament.

If this isn't the case and players in the UK have access to an Ace machine until it's final, then by all means you are welcome to enter.

Also, we decided against doing a female division this year.

The response to the poll wasn't as strong as we were hoping. There will not be girls division this year but we encourage anyone to enter the division of their choice.

Project IDOLA will be starting soon. Come watch live as we draw the qualifying songs the day before the tournament begins.

The method that will be used to pick the songs are as follows. (I'll use Lower Expert as an Example and the others will be the same with their respected difficulties.)

We will make 3 different draws, one for each level. Using the current doc for Lower Expert, we can see the first 30 songs are Level 10. On random.org we will input the min as 1 and max as 30 and draw a number. The number chosen will be be the song for that difficulty. Since the Level 11s are 31-80, we will use those numbers as the min and max on random.org to select one song for the Level 11s. We will repeat this process to finish Lower Expert, Upper Expert, and finally Doubles.

A friendly reminder. If you have entered Project IDOLA and likely to finish top 16 in your divisions, please tell me the songs you want to choose. If you do not tell me before the live stream then I won't be able to include them in the drawing. I suggest giving me your song picks asap. If you want to change more modify them at a later time that's okay. Just give me your ID and songs and check the following spreadsheet to make sure I added you.

The criteria for the songs for round two are the following.

LOWER EXPERT
-3 Expert/Challenge songs between 10-13

UPPER EXPERT

-3 Expert/Challenge songs between 14-17

DOUBLES

-3 Expert/Challenge songs between 12-15

They must be playable for all players, ie. no Paranoia kskst or other exclusive songs to a region, and the same chart may not be selected multiple times. (Selecting a songs Expert and Challenge chart is okay.)
