Looks like it's going to be mainly a rehash of Portable 1+2 songs, with BS, CE, P3, and the Technikas as DLC

How many times can they release a game with the same song pool and three - four new songs?
I'll still get it immediately ofc, but there's already quite a bunch of djmax that includes previous djmax

Oh man, now I really do need to get a PS4. My ex wife stole my PSP along with DJ Max 2 (fortunately I still have 1, 3, BS, Clazziquai) which was my favorite and I've missed playing that game. I don't mind this being a compilation of sorts at all and I'm excited to see how the Technika charts carry over from touch-based to the more traditional style.

I'm hyped for this, even if the base game is essentially "DJMAX Portable 1/2 HD". ;) (I personally don't care about that per se, since I only own Fever on my PSP, which doesn't even work anymore. Then again, I don't really bother with portables as much as consoles/PC anyway. ^^ )

Here's hoping PM Studios announces an English version soon enough!

It's the 10th anniversary of the DJMAX Portable series that we're celebrating. Yep, first offline DJMAX game is 2006

Japan is a bit surprising, since doesn't Konami own the rights to DJ MAX there?

But that doesn't compare to having an official release in China, which should be a pleasant surprise over there. : )

The bummer about this is that it's going to be the final game in the series from what I'm reading:

Cool that there's an International release. Wish it found its way to the Xbox One as I don't have a PS4 and won't buy it just for this game. But hope the game is a great send off to the series.

DJMAX RESPECT will be at a South Korean gaming trade show on 11/17-11/20. They also posted a picture of what will be playable there.

Going to be excited for this, but I'm far behind the times on the newer DJMax games to recognize any of the newer but not new content.

We need some of the more obscure songs in the game.

Yes and no, technika series uses some IIDX- like 3d animations that repeat across songs for fillers, they still are used around some song-specific graphics
