Pluto the First sounds super weird to me. And I don't like the 440bpm parts =.=
Back to topic, I liked the song musically. Though the steps are kinda lame. Especially like how they transition to paranoia then back.

.
Don't forget the 150 at the end as it might not show the number (i think) on the bpm counter.

The speed changes aren't really hard to memorize and I wouldn't say they were stupid, just unecessary. But that doesn't mean it makes it bad. It's just 300, 180, 300, 600. It's all pretty straight forward. Although it's understandable if you have trouble reading the arrows at 600. |

If I'm not mistaken, the 600BPM part of M AX.(period) is only made up of 1/4 notes. So it is kind of like 1/8 on 300, right?

Of course, people have complained about the song's speed on x1, but judging by SN1's ES having FAXX at 1.5x (150-300-600 BPM), it seems that Konami were serious about it, in a way...
Who's betting on some 800 BPM 4ths appearing in the next JP CS?

Seems likely, DDR is only going faster from here on, and I'm guessing it will get some 500 BPM 8ths, meaning that it finally reaches the 1000BPM 4th step count.

Fascination. anyone?
I've heard the Fascination remixes. They piss me off. I'm pretty sure Konami had to sort through massive amounts of crap like that when they did their Song Contest.
Konami. EternuS? Great choice!
I don't think that Konami is going to go to 500 bpm outright. More like 440, then 460, then 480 and finally 500.

FELMDemon: Cally & Juice's one is good, but yeah, the rest are crap.
Look for the other versions of Eternus that are out there. There's one that's 4 minutes long.
And Konami has hit 440 already, if the Pluto the First simfile that's on this site is the official one. 8ths at 440 in the last couple streams. I won't be too surprised if we have 8ths at 500 in the next one, given that PRE has been AA'ed.

I know about PtF.
It's good stuff. Thank goodness it's mostly quarter notes. The 8th streams aren't extremely devastating (there was that one stream where it went URUDLDURU or something like that ) and ending is a faster Across the Nightmare run. It's a high end 10 though. Like an 8/10 on the 10 footer scale.
I have a PtF file too (with Oni-91's awesome background ). I can't tell if the ending for mine is off-sync though.

MAX. was his first boss song. And it was a MAX. With 9 footer basic and difficult charts. Topping out at 600 BPM.
He did the CS Version Boss Songs for the first five games ^^;
Paranoia Clean Mix
Trip Machine Luv Mix
La Senorita Virtual
Orion.78 Civilisation Mix
Healing Vision Angelic Mix

It's just another 2MB remix. There's always going to be another one, but the only thing wrong is they put them in the wrong game! The xbox game never received any 2MB exclusives, though on the other hand we do receive Jondi and Spesh Exclusives Though it would be nice if we received some random new song called Paranoia -Love Mix- .. Those aren't boss songs... MAX.(period) was indeed his first. Those are simply just his earlier remixes of stuffs. They didn't start boss songs until MAX 1.

I don't know if it's true that people disliked MAX. period music. I liked it a lot and I'm still waiting for arcade release of the song.
