Only thing that bothers me is what NewbStepper pointed out, imo should've at least had 4 measures to resolve. The song didn't last as long as, let's say, RISING FIRE HAWK, so it bothers me that it just flat out ended. Other than that it's great and I can't wait to play it!

泉陸奥彦 is one of the few artists appearing in BEMANI for which JASRAC manages copyright. For Spanish Snowy Dance, KME retains authority for 録音,ビデオ,映画,CM,ゲーム,配信, but JASRAC has the authority for 演奏,出版,貸与,放送,通カラ. This suggests Spanish Snowy Dance would not be "free" to play during KAC.

(But don't ask me why it is that 泉陸奥彦 still performs at every KAC BEMANI live.)

Although that seems to be the likely answer, that wouldn't explain why Eastern Lariat was played during the GuitarFreaks KAC, or why 激走！！ヤング☆ダンプ！ debuted last during past year's KAC, despite having similar arrangements as Spanish Snowy Dance with JASRAC.

Not seeing the complaints about the "abrupt" ending. A lot of songs end an 8th or a 16th before a new measure, so I'm fine with it. Best Extra Exclusive so far? Quite possibly. Disappointed at the low difficulty, but fuck if this isn't a good song and chart.

It's not the "ending in a beat that isn't a quarter note" that bothers me. It's the number of measures the song cut had after the break that made it feel abrupt. The song felt like it was actually going somewhere, as it picked up again, but was just cut off without any hint that it was going to end. I agree about the chart and the song itself being great.

Anyone has similar info about how Idola is not there "because of lisencing", when it's done by just inhouse artists and vocaloid songs don't seem to need lisencing after just buying the voicebank. Is it because of the jacket having the character, which is a separate lisence? (you notice this when you compare jackets of AC games to CS games where they edit characters out)

Like Quickman, I don't feel that "abrupt ending" like some of you are getting vibes for.
Ends perfectly fine without dragging for too long.

4 measures ending, while for some people feels a bit short, nothing abrupt about that

Now, I have no problems with the abrupt ending, I like the song and the chart seems fitting. BUT... why did they make this an EXTRA EXCLUSIVE song? It's too easy and certainly not fitting for a boss song. Is it just me who is bothered by the fact that the more songs we see in Extra Exclusive, the easier they are? Shouldn't there be something that can surpass New Century soon?

Personally, I'm all up for a relatively tame Extra Exclusive chart to balance out all the 16s and such. The 4-life bar still means I still probably won't be able to clear it, but from what I can see we've got a good chart which I wouldn't find too easy, but also not too uncomfortable. I mean, it would be cool to get a new 18 someday, but I wouldn't be going anywhere near that thing, nor would most of the people I've seen play.

Granted, I'm a gamer, not an athlete.

While I would definitely love to see a new 18, if it was on an EXTRA EXCLUSIVE song, I probably would not touch it at all until two new ones come and the song moves down to FINAL STAGE. I do not think too many other players would, either. That's probably at least one of the reasons the newer songs on Extra Exclusive had easier stepcharts.

Given that none of the new EXTRA EXCLUSIVE songs have challenge charts, the highest I see plausibly being on EXTRA EXCLUSIVE is a 17, at least until they start getting challenge charts. As it turns out, as New Century is a 17, I'm so far correct on that matter.

But then again, I guess precedents probably don't matter all that much (after all, we did get that one challenge chart), but do I tend to look at patterns.
