A long time ago I saw DDR on TV. Some sort of dance aficionado is raving about the beauty of the game's dances while the game displays some sort of green cloud CG background animation. I have managed to spot almost every DDR TV appearance except that one. I have a strange feeling it is Dharma & Greg. Does anybody recognize this appearance?

Isn't it easier to answer a question with a thread than Let It Out unless the topic is new?

Is there a thread about Bemani appearances in mainstream media? If not, there should be.
Two people were playing DDR Universe in an episode of Degrassi a long time ago. Season 7, I think.

AMC or Regal cinemas had at one point in time a "PLEASE TURN OFF THE CELLPHONE" thing before movies where it featured them going "go out of the theater and do something more fun if you want to....like how *someone's name* enjoys to spend his whole day dancing" *and it shows nyan cat and other memes flying by while he goes "YEAH LOOK HOW MUCH FUN I HAVE"*.

Actually various movies have DDR referenced scenes, at this moment I can remember marmaduke https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5-Nn-yknBA and a scene from G-Force, I also have other references, but I can't remember at this time

Not necessarily DDR per se, but we can never forget this gem from We Bare Bears:

Also worth noting how the DDR X2 machine is ACTUALLY a X2 machine and not a weird knock-off like in most other original animations.

Was it Yes Man with Jim Carrey? It features him playing Flowers on a SuperNOVA cabinet.Plus the guy who trained him (JSB of early '00s DDR community fame) was in the crowd as an extra.

Big Time Rush (specifically the "Yard Squirrels" cartoon segment in "Big Time Christmas") also featured a 9-panel DDR lookalike.

"Let's Do the Rain Dance" |
Big Bang Theory had a DDR Universe shown from the back in a scene. I think the song is generic though.
Transformers also had a DDR Universe pad, but it doesn't look like there's an actual TV he's playing on. The song is not generic, but rather a crunk-era hiphop song.
Madonna's music video for Hung Up features a Dancing Stage Fusion machine playing on attract mode and the occasional selection screen and result screen (an E in each case! ).
WARNING! Tangential rhythm game features incoming!
In the Break Free video by Ariana Grande, featured artist Zedd's deck of DJ equipment includes a pimped out IIDX controller
Also there was a spanish TV show (Los Hombres de Paco) where there was a time-bomb Pump it Up NX machine (you could see songs like U Inside My Dim Memory and Love is a Danger Zone 2 being played, but the actual music was generic) that had to be successfully played or else it would explode. It doesn't explode.
