Here’s what happened. I decide to try out Stepmania 3.95 and well… I did not like it. So I got rid of it an went back to 3.9. Then it crashes after I load all the songs. So I re downloaded Step Mania 3.9 and it will not read any of the songs, course or themes.
Can some one hear help me?

Try renaming the Stepmania folder you have. Then, install 3.9 and translate the songs, courses and themes over to it.

It will not let me rename it it says it's "Still in use". I still got the folders for the 3.9 I got rid of, and if you go to program and open stepmania from there, it loads the songs but i get an crash log saying "AI skill levle0 is not found"
if I get rid of everything except songs and themes, then reinstall it. will that work?

Probably. I think that if you restarted your PC, Stepmania would not be in use, so you could rename it easily.

I've done that, it did not change anything.
I think I'm going to git rid of every thing (Not songs and Themes) and start from scratch.

If it says it's already in use, press ctrl+alt+del to bring up the Task Manager, go to the Processes tab, then find Stepmania.exe and terminate it. Or any other program that you know for sure is associated with StepMania.
