Mars Mix: Volcano

First thing of note, I thought this and my DDR edits pack were different enough to constitute a different thread. If I must *sigh* I will combine them on command of an admin or something. =P

Anyways, this is gonna be a custom Stepmania build (hopefully). I was quite inspired by Renard's Mungyodance to do this. I'm not competing against him or anything, in fact I highly recommend you go get Mungyodance 2. (www.mungyodance.com)

A note related to that: I know that one of the major gripes of MGD is the encryption. Volcano will be encrypted, but probably one week after releasing it I'll just drop out all the SM files. I want to do this because of the hidden and original songs that will be in it. I know people will try going for decrypting them immediately, but I don't see what the point is when you can just try it how the author intended for a week and then get everything on Stepmania anyways. I just want to make an incentive to try out my build, yeah?

Anyways, I'm looking towards hopefully being able to work in a custom unlock system for one thing. I want Extreme and up style missions, but these missions and regular play will share an 'experience bar' sort of idea. Missions make the bar climb faster, unlocking faster. Certain mods will lower the amount of 'experience' you get. Certain mods will increase it. Beating songs for the first time and such will also increase it.

There will be Another-style charts. Generally gimmicky. This is my excuse to give into my gimmicky urges without making songs less fun on sightread.

All charts will have Beginner-Heavy, a MASS majority of them will have Challenge. It may even end up that every song has Challenge steps. Doubles are under consideration.
