I am both incredibly relieved and elated that none of my old files are in this, but also a bit disappointed as it would've been great for me to laugh at them. Good job on this however!!

Oh god, you have my old simfiles...lol I know all of them were pretty stupid. Could you actually send me my old simfiles, if you don't mind? I'm just curious to remember what I did.

Hello! Ten years ago, my brother had a copy of Stepmania on our PC, and a few years ago I made the awful mistake of deleting it. Recently I downloaded it again because I really missed it, but there are some certain songs that I can't seem to find. I can't for the life of me remember what section they were in, or some of their names, but here's what I do recall:
There was a remix of "Real Emotion" from Final Fantasy X-2 that had an FF banner and background, and the song itself had a sort of "tropical whistle" mixed in the chorus, I don't know to describe it..
There was the speed song "SURVIVOR" by NANCY & THE BOYS
There was the speed version of "SLEIGH RIDE," that Christmas song
There was a song- I thi-ink it was Doo-be-doo Boy by smile.dk,the BG was blue and had Misty from Pokemon
This may or may not have been one and the same as above but there was also one with a nutcracker somewhere on it and I do believe it was "HAPPY TOYBOYS" by Jenny Rom
There was a song which I could swear was from BeforU where the BG was gray/silver and had images of them- it was very cool-looking
There was the Y&Co remix of "Colors" by dj taka
All of these have to pre-date November 2005.
If anyone knows of these songs, or which pack[s] they're from, please me know.
Oh yes, also! There was a "Cosmic Cowgirl" where the BG was a cartoon cowgirl wearing a "hot cowgirl" costume that had like hearts on the breasts or something..

I could not find SLEIGH RIDE, and the Y&Co remix of "Colors" by dj taka. All of the others turned up just fine! I will upload the other author collections the next chance I get.

Sorry, been busy job hunting / playing magic / being otherwise productive or unproductive. Will be happy to take a look at Akatsuki0.
Finished!
The biggest thing for me with Akatsuki0's is we have extremely different musical tastes. If you like Japanese metal, you'll love his work. If you don't, then you probably won't enjoy it as much. Also, the Japanese songs are all much longer than normal DDR songs, not cut at all.
A few general comments. Some of the songs have variable tempos, as in they weren't done with a synth or something else that makes the tempo exact. Those songs aren't synced as exactly as they could be. An example of this is "Nausea & Shudder", which changes BPM occasionally but still leads to a bunch of drift.
Also, pauses are done in increments of 0.02 instead of 60.0 / BPM, and sometimes they are fiddled to compensate for not lining up correctly with the tempo. Examples are "Shura" and "Imagination in the Dark". Also in those songs, sometimes only a pause of an 8th note occurs, and then it's offbeat for the rest of the song.
There are a few songs where I would use the charts regardless of musical taste or dealing with the slight tempo discrepancies. In particular, "Ai", "Before I Decay", "Chu Chu Lovely", "The Cape of Storms", "Toumei Ningen"
On the other hand, there were a few that I particularly liked: "Glenn Frog's Theme", "Starry Heavens", "Steal Your Misery", "The Final", "The Trial", "Senor Senora Senorita (original)".
I took some other more specific notes, but maybe it's a little too much if I write down every thought I had while going through the songs.

Oh my goodness, thank you so so much!! I was nervous that they wouldn't be there! Only one thing, though- when I click on the link it goes to a cloud logo and just stays there, nothing happens, what do I do?

Oh yeah, "horatio" on BMS was me. I'll try to fix them up as needed and upload them again here.
Suggestions welcome, of course! If I can dish it out, I should be able to take it, too

Ah, it's so good to see these songs again! But some of them are still missing..
Daniel, would you by any chance have any entire packages from 2003, '04 or '05? Or know where to find such a thing?
Ooh, it was great to see some of those old songs again!
Daniel, is it possible that you have any packages entirely of stuff from 2003, '04 or '05? Or do you know anywhere I could find such a thing?
Oh hey! Is it possible that you have any of your old stuff from 2003 or '04?
