A lot of official songs appear under multiple genres in-game (like Engraved Mark which was in every game), so is it possible to have multiple genres in a .sm file?

Nope, stepmania only stores one string for the genre of a song.
And people put all kinds of crazy symbols in the genre, so you can't fake it by deciding that one character is a separator.

silenttype01: Kyzentun is never harsh. He says it how it is.

GENERATION 24: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation. Social experiment.
