The problem is that there's no clean way to get them from the Game Boy itself without doing a lineout. That's because the songs themselves are not music files but rather programming that plays system sounds in preset times.
There is in fact a pack of them done by lineout in the old DDRUK collection, but I don't have the link on me anymore.

Oh, hey! Speaking of DDR GB... in Oha Sta's ROM there's an extra banner for Happy Go Lucky -Hard-. Never did figure out how to unlock it, though, and I see it's not in the pack even though the other unlocks are (Maniac difficulty and ZONAPARA). Wonder who unlocked those in the first place...? I'd sure like to talk to them about possible passwords for HGL Hard. They're probably long gone, though.Oh and hi everyone. Guess it's been about 2 years.

He's asking whether the songs sound like they do on the gameboy and aren't rearranged.

okay so the answer to that question is that those are the original 8 bit sounds from the Game Boy and not rearranged. As far as I know someone was able to do line out recordings from the actual Game Boy system.
Thanks for the assist Silver Spirit.
