It looks like you have percentage scoring on (the name of the preference is a bit of a misnomer, it really means "always use whatever score display would be used in Oni mode").

Also, there is a new theme release.

https://github.com/stepmania/stepmania/wiki/User-Data-Locations shows you how to get to your user data folder, unless you are running SM5 in portable mode (and if you don't know if you are, you probably aren't), in which case it will be the same folder you have StepMania in. In that folder, there will be a folder called "Logs" which contains "log.txt".

Did you extract r6 over an old copy of the theme? The log suggests that some r5 code is being loaded. Try deleting your SN3 folder and extracting the zip again.

You didn't mash r5 and r6 together? Hmm. I'll do a little more work and see what's up.

For the record, if you did mash r5 and r6 together, what would happen is some of the files would conflict and you'd get problems like what you're getting in both cases.

EDIT: I looked at your list again in the first log, there are definitely some files that shouldn't be there and are not in the original download, namely "Scripts/ThemePrefs.lua".

EDIT2: Regarding screen filters, loading screen filter settings from a profile seems broken right now (and indeed may have been broken for a very long time).

So... first post says it's for use with 3.9; the website itself says 5.0.9...

...so which is it? Because this looks really freaking cool and on the level.

There was once a 3.9 theme but it was abandoned approximately forever ago and it was basically Takuya's SN2 with graphics swapped out.

There was. I even have the theme.

I don't know if Marten or Inori would allow me to pass that theme around though. I call it DDR SN3 Beta.

As I said in late 2015, I don't think any of us really care if you still want to use that thing or see what it looks like. It's not a good representation of what SN3 is but that's what it was then.

(edit: I wouldn't even call it beta exactly, it itself wasn't done and it's a fundamentally different product.)

Edit2: r6.1 of the theme should be going up soon. It fixes most of the bugs that have been reported since r6 came out.

Any plans to add the song name and artist to the edit mode screen?

It makes it hard for me to edit my WIP sims that have no graphics.

Quick fix: open the metrics.ini file and at the end of it, add the lines:

[TextBannerEditMode]
Fallback="TextBannerGameplay"
AfterSetCommand=%TextBannerAfterSet

This will be fixed in whatever the next post-r6.1 release is.
