My basic goal here is to get these items to a good home where they'll be used; the money is somewhat secondary. I've got good store-bought metal pads for myself I still use, so I don't need these anymore. Feel free to make an offer. I have no idea if anyone is even buying this stuff anymore, but here goes...
I have 2 RedOctane soft pads; not sure what version; Ignition 2.0 I think? $30 each seems reasonable to me?, plus shipping if you want me to ship them.
I have a pair of HOME MADE pads based on http://www.angelfire.com/d20/ddrhomepad/ ; they mostly work most of the time, but could probably use a teardown and cleaning and the like. Assuming someone was willing to give them some tender loving care, they should function great. $40 each, I guess? I would *REALLY* prefer not to ship these, they are large, wooden, and heavy as hell.
I have a second pair of HOME MADE pads based on http://web.archive.org/web/20100317142918/http://www.prism.gatech.edu/~gtg161s/stealth/stealth.htm ; THEY NEVER WORKED VERY WELL. In particular, the metal parts would almost certainly all need replacing. Why would anyone want these? Because the wood is good and that much wood is not cheap, and also I've already done the controller mods and I think they are working. How about $20 each? I would *REALLY* prefer not to ship these, they are large, wooden, and heavy as hell.
Thought I'd do one thread bump, just in case.

I might be interested in at least one of the homemade pads you have there. Specifically how much do they weigh out of curiosity? I live in SF so I'm wondering what I could do to transport them on over to my place.
What do you mean when you say teardown? I'm willing to do cleaning.
Do the home made pads have USB control boxes, or what would be a good way to hook them up to a copy of Stepmania?
Edit:
Thinking about it a bit further, I'd be really interested in potentially buying at least one metal pad. If you have time, I'd also like to test out the pad before I buy it, just to make sure it feels good and to make sure it can connect with my computer alright. Perhaps we can arrange a time/price and whatnot?

If you have knowledge of pads I would pay you to make me a control box for my Red Octane 15 pin Afterburner. Just message me if you're able!
