Dance Super Station (China) - PIU and ParaParaParadise's Lovechild?

So... yeah. ^^;

This is a rather.... unique game that's only been released in China, and probably something that not many people will lose sleep over whether it will ever see the light of day anywhere else in the world. I don't know too much about the game, but I've heard about it (along with a couple other music games that may or may not be using the Stepmania engine without permission) this once before, and it was from an article I read where they went to a Chinese amusement show, but I can't seem to find it again. 0-o

I'm wondering what everyone else thinks of this "Gem" of a game.

EDIT: I found footage of a much more flashy cabinet than the first video, looks a lot like one of the higher-end PIU cabinets.

I'm trying to decipher whether if I can import a machine and boot it up and play/ or whether it needs an internet connection etc

It's weird.. it seems to be a rip off of Pump it up (just with no bar) but with pop culture songs attached to it. The only note worthy song I saw from it's list is Beethoven's Virus but that's about it.

All in all it's looks bland and average at best.
