I have a idea for between Konami and Raw Thrills: Why not merge with Raw Thrills and call it: "Konami-Raw Entertainment"
Konami-Raw Entertainment (a joint venture between Konami and Raw Thrills) is a would-be subsidiary focusing on Arcade Games as well as Mobile Games, Goods and Music CD/DVD/Blu-ray content (deal courtesy of Ultra Music). And also why not make a publishing deal with Mad Catz for future console gaming releases?
This might be a positive future of US/Canada BEMANI history though. What if they began developing and producing future BEMANI arcade releases, For example, the new cabinets for a future DDR game would be built by Konami in Japan, however the cabinets will be exported to US/Canada. The new cabinets would be the same as the Japanese counterpart itself. The new cabinets will include a USB slot for edits, e-AMUSEMENT based components, LED light-strip and LED sidelights.
TRUST ME, it would work PERFECTLY!!!

Shipping would cost a fortune and they would make negligible money in arcades.

No mate. For example, many arcade releases were success from Raw Thrills like the newly released Jurassic Park arcade game.

Maybe in your mind it works, but here in the real world, it wouldn't. At all.Post #6 · Posted at 2015-05-15 12:42:07am 8.9 years ago

"HAPPY☆SPENDY☆MONEY" |
fun facts:
e-amusement isn't free to run like programmed world was
arcades would definitely not spend thousands of dollars upward just to buy one machine unless they are a wealthy chain like round 1/DNB (they can just buy several redemption games and make much more money off of those.)
shipping would be a shit ton of money like SM MaxX said.
look at where betson + konami ended up.

optimism intensifies
Seriously, as much as we'd love to see this happen, it wouldn't cut it in the western gaming market. Besides, take a look at this recent article about Konami. It should give you an eye-opener to what is actually profitable. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/metal-gear-publisher-konami-mobile-is-now-our-main/1100-6427329/

I can go and systematically tear down this post but I feel like I would be wasting my time
Best answer I can give is unfortunately "Stop it, DDR is literally a relic of pop culture at the west at this point, it wouldn't be as big as it was, put your dream out of its misery"

With nothing else to say at this point, I'm locking the thread.
I'm sorry you had to read all of this, Michael, but the truth hurts.
