Stepmania 3.X/5.X announcers

I don't remember how I ripped this, but maybe was that, I'll check on my old computer If i have the DDR2 iso to recheck, because in the DC edition I haven't found the announcer


No, the DDR 3rdMix announcer was a man too. The other series that have woman as far I can remember was Ultramix, but from Ultramix I couldn't find the announcer files too. And the DDR 2010 are encoded in an unusual codec

Really is Thomas Howard, the 1st announcer that work until DDR 5thMIX.

If possible, is there a way to rip the DDR Hottest Party 3 - DDR II announcer? It is the same as Hottest Party in gameplay but in the menus it's a different voice.

Yes, brings to me good memories when I meet the DDR games I have the DDR3 rips but some are slow, I'll check my another pc later, there I have my old rips isos and tools.


Maybe in the future, I'm out of space to download more DDR games, but I think could be possible, as far as I know that announcer has a different format too. Seems like Konami was changing the format of the announcer voices in the lastest releases, but we will check that later. I am creating a DDR Disney Grooves announcer, but like DDRX I need to play more to assign the remaining voices when I finish that rip I could try the HP3, I'm thinking on a method to rip that announcer.

What sound ripper do you use cause I'm trying to get the sounds for my Extreme USA theme

In PS2 you coul use the same tools for PSX, like PSound, MFAudio, there is a lot of tools, you can search and try to check what gives you the better results.

3rdMIX has a Male voice.

So I found the female announcers. DDR Universe and DDR Ultramix 2 have them. I never owned either of those so that's why I wasn't aware of them.

yea i've been tryin' 2 find tha DDR Ultramix 2 Female announcer but all i can find is DDR 1st-5th Mix, DDR Solo, Max-SuperNOVA2, and tha god awful X announcer! does anybody know where i can get a Female Ultramix 2 announcer? i'd rather have her

is it possiblef for someone 2 rip those Ultramix announcers? i only want tha Female one from Ultramix 2

They don't exist, because no one has ripped them if someone knows how to do it, we will have them, reverse engineering is not so easy, and the people with the required knowledge is not interested or doesn't have the time. If you really need it, learn about file formats, and find the way to extract it.

awwweee it's a shame because tha female Ultramix 2 announcer is my favorite! i've been tryin' 2 figure out how 2 rip audio files from tha Ultramix discs but it didn't let me or am i'm doin' it all wrong? :/

how do i get an audio ripper? anybody knows? :O
