Quick question. What's the "best" way of updating to a newer version of Stepmania 5 without having to reinstall the program all over again? I'm still on beta 3 (Kinda late to the party, aren't I?) and I'm wondering how to upgrade to the newest version while I preserve my songs, themes, and the rest of the folders. Thank you in advance!

I prefer non-installer zip version from this http://smnightly.katzepower.com/ over the official one.
Here's what I do:
- delete the following: Themes/_fallback and Themes/default
- copy updated _fallback and default theme to Themes
- copy updated StepMania.exe, StepMania-SSE2.exe, StepMania.vdi & StepMania-SSE2.vdi (from updated SM5's Program folder). Paste and overwrite them to your Program folder.
That's all.
Here's what I do:

Put your songs, themes, and noteskins in %APPDATA%/StepMania 5.0/whatever and you won't have to move them every time.
On Linux that would be ~/.stepmania-5.0/
On OS X it's ~/Library/Application Support/StepMania 5/
