Genuinely surprised that they actually did it. I didn't want Roman's reign to continue, but I really thought they'd let it go until he hit #3 on the longest runs list.
I wonder how long it'll be before crowds turn on Cody now that the chase is over.

Give it six months, frankly. Cody is kinda boring and this chase was all he really had.

Just seen on Monday Night Raw next Monday that Sami Zayn is defending his title against Chad Gable.
Pretty cool to see how Sami Zayn will handle this opponent.

I dunno why Gunther dropped the belt tbh, like, now we know Ilya Dragunov's coming up in the draft, you got a story RIGHT there. It's *fine* but tbh given everything else going on that weekend the win really didn't feel as big as it should have been.

Thing is Sami vs GUNTHER was clearly the best match of the weekend. Unfortunately it was the wrong call, because Chad Gable should've been there against GUNTHER to beat him. It was kinda silly.

I just noticed Gunther's title reign was 666 days. I wonder if that was booked purposely? LOL

I feel at some point they HAVE to revisit Cody v Gunther, it's been a very fun avenue to visit during the last two Manias. I feel that Cody's taking it, sadly, as it feels like after dethroning Roman you do have to keep Cody's reign going for a bit. If you end up dropping it after a week it's gonna look a bit shite? Look what happened to Charlotte when she broke Asuka's streak. Got rolled up by Carmella and then had to drag her to a one-star match at Backlash.

Gunther losing to Gable would elevate Gable but would normalize Gunther going forward. Losing to someone with Sami’s accomplishments, a literal WrestleMania main eventer, did nothing to normalize him. He still looks like top tier talent going forward. Sami has permanent credibility at this point, he can be the one to put Gable over while Gunther revisits the idea of breaking the world champion he was talking about going into the Rumble. Not the same world champion, mind you, but still.

The thing is though, it's Charlotte and she's overpushed anyway. Involving her in the title picture in any way is lose/lose at this pointPost #990 · Posted at 2024-06-14 04:07:46pm 7.2 months ago
King & Queen of the Ring was a great PLE.
Women’s World Championship match was a great one, when Liv Morgan beat Becky Lynch to win the championship. The DDT onto the steel chair which the referee didn't see led to her win. If she did it, it was a DQ.
Any way, Nia Jax becoming Queen of the Ring was one of the greatest wins I saw. They not only competed to wear the crown, they fought for a chance of a Championship Match at Summer Slam Cleveland. And not only that, Gunther accomplished the dream and became King of The Ring. For him to go up against Randy Orton in the Men's Final was so unreal, but it had to happen.
Then came the Undisputed Title. I knew Cody was going to win this one, but it ended the same way Roman Reigns lost his title. I mean, Logan Paul didn't have the strength in him even though he's United States Champion, but Ibrahim Al Hajjaj doing the introductions? That might be the only time now.
Anyway, NEWS JUST IN, Summerslam is set to become a 2 night PLE. It's in 2026 though in Minnesota. Where's Summerslam going in 2025 though?
Also it's Clash at the Castle tomorrow. Oni-91, you haven't done a prediction thing in a while.

That Clash finish fucking LOL. HHH and Nick Khan might as well have gone to the house of every person in Scotland and punched them up the throat. Trash.

Jey Uso's definitely winning the Money In The Bank Ladder Match.
And also a legend MIGHT returns to WWE. No guess who it is though.
So glad Jey Uso didn't win! I was really hoping for Yeet in the Bank...... but Drew McIntyre won the Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match...... and cashed it in on the same night, but failed to win the World Heavyweight Championship due to CM Punk.
Also Tiffany Stratton won the Women's MITB. I'm guessing she'll cash it in at Summerslam. Plus we now know where Summerslam is in 2025: Indianapolis. Then we're going 2 nights in Minnesota......
Also to revive this thread, some sad news just happened:

Big loss for WWE. Perhaps it's time for AEW?
