If money is an issue, you can try to get the free mcboot (FMCB) method for your iidx needs...

Thanks guys I'll look into both of them.

Also, looking at getting one of the arcade controllers as well. Is there any major differences between the dj dao FP7 EMP and the Real Edition Single 2nd? Is it worth the money to go with the Real Edition? I want to make a possible just one-time purchase on something like this.

I'd suggest sticking with the FP7.

I used the american version beatmania controller and want to use the arcade looking one instead. Is there any major difference between the djdao buttons and the Sanwa buttons? Considering the extra $88 for the Sanwa. Also, what are the Microswitches for?

thank you for the help! Big Grin

Sanwa buttons are the exact same as you'd find in the arcade machines, DJDAO are custom and probably the better choice unless you REALLY have money to burn. Microswitches? Arcade perfect switches would be D2MV-01-1C3s, but they could be expensive. I'm not sure on the price side.

I'd recommend customizing what colours you want the L.E.Ds to be, they're not more than $20 for the buttons and turntable. Worth it just to have a custom colour set.
