The latest version of this file has removed the orange note syndrome, which would be all fine and dandy if that didnt make the file inaccurate to how the game plays the song. the ending is done is offset to 32nd notes in the actual game, so the simfile should reflect that IMO.

if youre going to remove orange note syndrome, you might as well fix the BPM and have it play in triplets like its supposed to be as well.

So, you mean put the song at 147 BPM 12ths?

oni- yes. they decided to go with a lower BPM and 16ths for it, my guess is so the notes would actually match the song. if youre going to fix the ending, you might as well fix the whole thing.

al- i said orange because i use the ITG notes. when its properly done to match the game its all 32nds and as such all orange. on the actual game its all purple in solo. i guess note is where its all yellow?

Yeah in DS Universe it's all purple in Solo so I think they're meant to be 16ths rather than 32nds.

i would LOVE to check this out, but my game decided to have the glitch where my unlocked songs arent unlocked any more >_<

if its offset to 16ths like some songs are, wouldnt it be mostly purple with some red and blue thrown in? i know konoko is like this because its offset a 16th, thats what lead me to believe it was a 32nd that this was offset by.

can someone import it into edit mode, save it, and play it? if it is 32nds, they wont save as 32nds and it will be off sync. then we can talk to this guy about making the file correct.

also, it may have just been me and the crappy frame rate, but after the slow down, when it speeds back up, did it feel to anyone else like it had a slight slow down where there was no notes, then the 32nds came up? if that wasnt just me, that also needs to be there for the file to be accurate.

My file is completely accurate. I'll make a video in a second to show you what's going on if you've ever turned on solo while playing.

Still, if you want the steps to appear as triplets:

BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

They SHOULD be on sync, but feel free to tweak them if they aren't.

Please take down that sm code. It is incorrect AND some of the arrows are wrong. Watch my video I just posted and you'll see.

Zenius-I-Vanisher user "N00b_Saibot" called me out and pretty much said I don't know what I am doing when it comes to coding the songs for stepmania when in fact I am the ONLY one who pays close attention to detail. I think your name is NOOB saibot for a reason.

1)i never said you didnt know what youre doing, so dont put words in my mouth. i said that to my knowledge the song should be offset by a 32nd, and that i thought the "fix" was wrong.

2)nice job not knowing anything about video games and calling me out on a screen name i've been using for about 10 years now.

there was no reason for you to react to this like you did, all i did was try and point out what i felt was an error with one file(apparently tir na n'og being wrong obviously means every file you did is wrong, great logic there). if you read the entire thread, you know that my file is fucked up and i dont have my locked songs any more, so its not like i could double check, i just remembered a shit ton or purple at the end and thought the file was wrong so i pointed it out. i even asked someone with the game to check, and apparently no one did as no one responded to that part of my post.

because no one responded to that, i cross-posed it on DDRUK.
