I'm pretty sure that you're serious about the bans in the forums to prevent unwanted spam. When banning someone, you're also blocking their IP right?

Well bans here are lenient bans. Banned users can do anything but post on the forums, and there's the issue if the banned users have dynamic or static IP addresses.

Question on this hinata character: what exactly did he do to get a warning?

I don't think anyone would really care if you're logged in... I'm on almost all the time We're mostly annoyed by old thread bumps (depending on the topic) and stupid posts.

You can tell it to remember you on almost any forum and you'll stay logged in when you re-visit it. It's hardly an issue.
