Just curious as to was it a bad idea to switch servers? Seeing that now we are receiving an influx (ok, I might be exaggerating that.) of spambots that just don't know when to quit (I know they are programmed to never quit).

Absolutely not. If ZIv never switched from Dreamhost, this site wouldn't even be running at the moment due to the massive load we were getting.

I don't think switching host has anything to do with what type of visitors/bots we get.
