Z-I-v Summer Contest 2014 [CLOSED]

Well this has been a fun and productive Summer as placing 5 times is a definite improvement from last year
Thanks for anyone who voted for me and left any critiques for me throughout the contest!
Hopefully I can return for TOI & SC next year and try to place 1st for once haha
Also I hope I see a reboot of Simfile Shuffle in the winter

Alright, spreadsheet updated for (if nothing goes wrong) the final time. Sorry if I wasn't able to update the sheet for the final moments of the contest; I was away to an outbound event for a day and a half.

Sheets are re-sorted chronologically (starting with Week 01) with the Weekly Summaries in front. Thanks for the event, the reviews, suggestions, votes and all that! They mean quite a lot to me and are great pushes for me to improve my charts. I was originally aiming for ten weeks, but I got busy near the end so yeah. I hope to participate in another contest soon!

Thanks to everybody who submitted files and who participated in voting! Hopefully the themes GariK+ and I picked this year gently stretched you in new directions and pushed you to create simfiles you normally wouldn't have. I was very pleased to see some new faces pop up this year, and to follow everybody's improvement over the past three months. Remember that you don't need a contest to write simfiles or ask for feedback~
A special thanks to vincentw for stepping up and recording votes / calculating end-of-contest stats! Quite a timesaver having your up-to-date totals available for reference at theme rollovers.

It was a fun time -- glad I managed to find some time to participate. I didn't expect to win at all, lol (that would most likely change if Tel joined)
one of my golds (ZIv week specifically) is due to xRGTMx for telling me to get off my ass and do a file for ZZ >w<

Major props to Tel, Garik, Pandy and vincent~ (damn son you put in a lot of effort in compiling that)

also fun fact: i only joined weeks with entries i'm confident about -- if i'm confident about it i tried to find the time :P

Ever since I started this thing in 2010 and when it really started to take off, SC has kind of been my baby and I was worried a little bit when I was not going to be able to run things this year. However things ended up being much better then I could imaged and I have to give Tel and Garik major props for keeping this thing fresh and alive.

I had a song since week 1 ready for "You Won't See This in DDR" week and then it never happen. Oh well. On another subject, I really don't have plans for another contest until TOI V as every time I've tried a contest in the winter, it's ended in failure. Maybe Simfile Shuffle 2 or something new will come up if anyone is looking for another contest down the road.
