I'm so grateful for this arcade! I never see anyone else when I go, but I also tend to show up at random hours on the weekdays, so I guess it's to be expected. The workers here are really friendly too. I'd love to go more often than I do currently, but work's been hitting hard lately.

99% of my time is spent haunting the jubeat machine and 1% is playing doubles badly on the DDR machine, though I might start hitting DDR harder in 2019 now that LIFE4 came out. I've got new goals :O

Thank you for all your hard work on this arcade! I'm so delighted you post here, I've been wanting to thank whoever runs this arcade for ages.

Haven't posted here in a bit, but I'm tentatively looking to bring back GamePlay's multi-game tournament series this year. Based on my personal availability and polling a small number of people it seems the date of June 22 currently works out the best. Is this something that interests anyone? Which games would you compete in?

In a desperate search to find a single DDR machine anywhere in MD, I finally found this one at Marley Station. It's like a solid 40 minute drive from here in Aberdeen but i'm just glad that it exists. One thing that I noticed though was that while the game seemed to be DDR 2013, there was a Touhou folder and a J-pop folder but I didn't find any of the standard DDR tracks. While i'm not complaining, I was curious if anybody had modified the library.

I'm not nearly good enough at these sort of games to play in the tourney but hell, I might attend anyways. I'm looking forward to not being alone in my obsession for this game Very Happy

The game defaults to sorting by genre, and those folders don't have all of the songs in them. Next time you play, scroll up and look for the "Choose by VERSION" option. It sorts all of the songs into folders by arcade release.

It's worth pointing out that generally all that remains of the old pre-2003 music library is the music Konami themselves made or commissioned at the time; aside from a few edge cases, a lot of the licensed music is long gone. I've given thought to having DDR Extreme available in addition to modern DDR, but the unfortunate reality is there just isn't room in GamePlay for a third dance machine.

Speaking of DDR, we put in a ton of work getting the pads clean and tournament ready. The tournament is now only a week and a half away and I'm hoping to have a few surprises ready in time for the big day!
