Little kids & you when you play DDR

idkl if someone made this or not, but o well. today i went to my arcade to play some games & they have some really good bemani games, but the one thing that bothered me alot, is little 5 year olds getting in my way when i was playing DDR has this happened to u before?

It happened to me today as a matter of fact. I was preparing to play Tsugaru on Heavy doubles and a group of kids had the nerve to not only walk in front of the pads, but through the pads!!

Evil as it may be, I managed to get one of them when the steps started

exactly! that happened to me also. also when i was playing DrumMania, some kid decided to clap is hands in front of me for about 2 minutes when i was doing a song! it was very annoying

i've should of XD, but i did something like that when i was playing DDR, some kid was in my way so i tapped him to move away & the mom was P.O!XD she came up to me nagging at me that i "hurt her child" but i didnt

And that's how the soccer mom usually is. They're always cutting in front of people to let their own brat play for two to three games. I feel sorry for those kids because those are the ones that are babied and told what to do.

Fortunately that never yet happened to me since little kids always got scared at me whenever i play any Bemani Games....

(usually I play DDR and Drummania...)

what gets me really frustrated is when someone starts playing next to you...it gets me really distracted because they don't even know what they are doing ( i play expert) and all the kids usually play basic and only a few play standard and they try to measure up to HEAVY and all the time they are just there as a distraction!

I have been distracted by little kids while playing DDR. Think god there’s some parenting in the arcade I go to. That and there’s a kids place (That has DDR Extreme).

What’s worst is almost losing in ITG to a 5 year old. Think you Pandemonium. whats that to hard on the kid?

Okay, i learned from self-experience that you should NEVER EVER EVER give a little child change. NO MATTER HOW INNOCENT THEY LOOK!!! Chances are that he'll turn into an evil little gremling, and hog the machine from you, and rub it in your face. The little bastard was lucky that his mom was there because he seriously would've went head first into the speakers.

that happened to me too! this kid kept following me for like 20 minutes asking for tokens & i gave him one (god that was a BIG mistake) & kept asking for more so i told the kid to leave me alone. man i was mad at him

Happen to me a LONG time ago...

Though good thing I am a Light player back then, so I (or we, me and my sister) did not harm the "baby". (Really.)

(And for those who have to Chinatown, LA, the plaza used to have a DDREX and 4th mix before. But now took them away... Possibly due to volume complaiments.... Ah the good old days...)

This boggles my mind. Where I play, Dave & Busters in Times Square, the minimum age is usually 21, so I can't really understand why I have to deal with the little brats that run around. Especially the ones who aren't with their parents. DDR is not a babysitter.

I can’t stand low volume machines.

Play it loud, crank the bass. that's how i go

one time this kid hated people who could beat him in ddr and i was beating him. the next day he got a fire extinguisher that was strapped to the wall while I was playing it ( It was DDR SuperNOVA ) and he shot it at the screen and speakers and he almost killed a guy standing next to the machine. he was banned and his family got sued for $100,000 (for charges because he almost killed the guy) and he had to pay for a NEW machine(the old machine played like crap but now it is heck of a lot better)

This happened at a Family fun center arcade (that is the name) last year around december (the week before X-mas)....u know...I wonder if he got presents or coal.....
