I've been wondering if any of you ever bought a Japanese JuBeat song pack for the iOS before.
I tried to buy once.
I created a Japanese account, download JuBeat, after I click the purchase button it pops up that I need a bank to connect or something.
But the problem is that I don't have a Japanese bank. So I stop there.
So did you ever try or successfully to buy a Japanese JuBeat song packs?

If you don't have a Japanese credit card, you'll have to use iTunes gift cards.
http://www.japan-codes.com/ has somewhat reasonable prices.

No they don't. The game converts the price of the song packs in US dollars but if you try to buy you'll get nowhere.

I can confirm this as well, I buy song packs all the time for Japanese jubeat plus and reflec beat plus with US dollars when logged into the US store (pay 4.99 + sales tax per music pack), have easily spent hundreds of dollars so far with all the packs they have available for both games.
Only used the Japanese iTunes Store/gift card when I got first couple of song packs then switched over to US store after I learned I was able to do it that way as well. The only other time I use the Japanese iTunes account now is for updating the app version, ie to get limelight theme for reflec best plus.

If you are not posting anything constructive, or putting others down, then don't post anything.

I think it is hacked as well. iTunes is not international it blocks you from buying from other stores with your own currency. I've taken copies of those claims posted and will post them on Apple's support website.

Weird. When I want to buy the Japanese Song Pack with my Australia account (priced in dollars), they popped up a message "please login with the purchased-app account" which is the Japanese one. I try to find the Japanese one with my Australlian account but the JuBeat is Japan exclusive. Try to purchase with Japanese and I can't. I'm going nowhere.
Is the only way to purchase is through gift card? Or maybe other alternative?
Honestly I never bought a gift card since here in Malaysia gift card doesn't exist (or maybe I didn't bother looking for one).
How does it work?

Well, I've never tried getting a card through that website yindesu listed, but if I had to take a shot, I would say that since they are gift cards equvalent to the amount of money you put down (as well as any iTunes Gift Card) you recieve a code with which you input the code over in the Japanese App Store which adds the funds to the gift card. Once that happens you are free to purchase whatever you want from the store with the amount of money that was placed on the card. I wouldn't imagine they would actually send you a gift card (or they may, not entirely sure), but since it essentially needs a code either way to add the funds, that would probably be how that website handles the gift cards.
Also, about the purchasing packs without having a Japanese credit card/funds, I don't quite believe it either since I've tried that method before jailbreaking my iPad. I am not sure how or why, but the funds must come from somewhere registered within the App Store, and I don't think your regular credit card could work on the Japanese App store. Although I can imagine there are people who have found methods of paying without the use of a gift card, I just don't see it.

I used to use japan-codes, but they take so freakin long to deliver the code sometimes.
Tried nihongoperapera.com/store last night and got a 3000 yen code TEN MINUTES after making my purchase. Going to stick with them for sure from now on since it's absolutely impossible to use American currency.

With the app flex you can modify the application (jubeat, reflec beat+, pop'n rhythm), and unlock song packs, the old packs and the new packs, and in the application only you press the button "install" and there is no more "buy" button, only for jailbroken devices sorry.

One day when Konami decides their iOS music game DLC is no longer profitable and cancel it, I hope you never question why that's the case, gene.

That's not helping at all. Don't be a shameless bastard and illegally download the songs. Filthy disgusting thieves.

Hate to say it, but the majority of people playing jubeat and reflec beat plus outside of Japan are doing so via jailbbreak and app cracks.
