Embarrassing DDR Moments

My most embarrassing moment in DDR was probably when I urinated playing Afronova Primeval in DDR Extreme 2.

My most embarrassing DDR moment was purchasing DDR SuperNOVA 2.

Over-jumping on DOUBLEs, so I jumped off the platform.

Probably being about 12 or so...

I played DDR Extreme, the first time I picked "Gamelan de Couple." I failed because I fell over laughing my head off from the dancing cactus background animations.

Honestly I've never really had any embarrassing moments while playing DDR. The only thing that would probably be a few feet from that would be this one time when I was in high school and I had my DDR Club we spun around in the swivel chairs and tried to play a hard song, I fell on my ass. It was pretty funny though.

I think my most embarrassing moment is probably when I was playing an EXTREME and the machine froze whenever I played. Like whenever someone else ever used the machine, everything was fine and dandy, but when I started oh nooooo the machine wouldn't have that.

My guess is that it had to do with the song(s) you were playing. Or the difficulty.

Same thing pretty much happened to me, except I stepped too far and off the pads.

I tripped on the metal part of the pad and failed a song.

First time on an actual machine way back in '04, I did HVAM Light, still trying to get an idea of how the stuff worked. Was fine til the end - slipped off the mat and ended up fucking up my ankle pretty bad. Sucked walking on it for a good week.

Hard to pick just one, but i've tripped off the pad a few times, mostly when I was 16-17. A lot of times I was going ahead of the music on the faster songs by accident and would either stumble a bit or straight up fall off the pads. Most of the time it was in the arcade, which used to have a good amount of people around the DDR cabs.

Hard to be embarrassed when there's little if any competition to begin with.

At least in my state. At least I'm not laughing like an idiot at how bad I am because I took the time to learn how to run in place.

If we were to ask people who don't know about DDR, they would most likely reference that video...it's been everywhere. Also yesm it was A I think on

So pretty much I think this video has become the embarrassment of the whole community.

I can't really think of any really embarrassing DDR moments...
Maybe when I played at the arcade during one of the few times I've gone and played something like Xepher Challenge and people were watching me, like little kids and their parents (not many, but there were a few). It's a little embarrassing for me to know that so many people were watching me in awe.

This happen to me when I first tried Horatio On DDR X

I don't know how to elaborate this, but when I was young, I played on a DDR USA cab at Seaworld Florida and played So Many Men . What happened that I played on the CENTER of the pads instead of the LEFT side of the pads (I was on the 1P side that time), so I failed miserably, and I never even knew about the bar behind the pads. What made it worse was that my family was there and a DDR player who I considered a really good player was watching me too. Yikes.
