So...after having not played ITG in over four months (since COTC 2016 at 8OTB), I finally resumed playing at CTF this past Tuesday. On Thursday (yesterday), on my first set of the day...this happened.
Now let's note the following:

>>I have never Starred a 12 or higher before
I was just so ecstatic the moment this happened, and I am really happy to have ended 2016 on such a high note on ITG, after months of not playing.
Also side note, Pop'n Music is up and running at Tri County Flea Market in Levittown. Also peaked inside Round 1, lots of big boxes and stuff inside but looks like it's a while away from opening.

No. It's opening at the Broadway Mall in nearby Hicksville.

Yeah it will definitely be worth the wait. I mean once it comes, it's not going anywhere. I am highly confident they will do good business there because:
1. It's a highly populated area
2. It's next to a popular train station
3. It's the closest one to the NYC metro area (although Middletown will be good for those in NJ and lower NY/upstate NY/Northern PA)
4. Plenty of rhythm game fans around here (almost always people playing DDR every-night at Islandia D&B)
It has such a great variety of entertainment too, I think it's going to be a blast.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the Middletown location myself and the linkedin posting leads me to believe it's basically confirmed for this year too so that's pretty sweet.
Frankly I can't see myself not playing itg so I'll probably end up alternating that r1 and ctf, By the time we get both locations prime 2 should be out too which is great considering I'm not huge on the new Ace stuff. Voltex and prime 2 should be good enough for me to take the trip on occasion.
Should be exciting times! (Also the ice cream claw machines are the best not gonna lie)

It is exciting to have these locations coming. Still love DDR A here but D&B is a much better deal pricewise for it so Round1 I will use for the other music games, maybe even trying Pump it Up (the pump we had in Islandia was in really bad shape and now gone). IIDX will most likely be my main focus for Round 1 when it comes but I just love all rhythm games.
It looks like we are finally showing up on Round 1's website and they are hiring a manager
UPDATE 2017-02-10 - Looks like we are pushed back to September for our Round 1 http://www.bemanistyle.com/2017/02/10/round1-store-opening-scheduled-plan-for-2017-2018/
Later in the fall we will get the Middletown location

Yeah it's fine, if they can do it in June particularly that would be great for business since all the kids are out of school.Gotta make money somehow right?

I am going to be heading to Tri County Flea Market in Levittown,NY on Saturday, March 18th in the Afternoon with my friend Rob. Looking to play some IIDX, DDR and Pop'n Music. Hopefully they cleaned up the mess from the IIDX machine. Would love it if some others could come down and hang out with us!

Has anyone played on that X3 (the rack n roll one) any more recently than ~ early january? Last I was there it was incredibly, incredibly bad.
I've been "stranded" going to 8otb because the itg's broken at chinatown and voltex alone isn't worth the trip to me. Not that the break's pads are very good but at least I can still pass some lower itg 15s on it.
At least the steaks are good, and they replaced that dumb pinball that didn't work.
I saw the picture of the mess on the iidx from mgh, yuck lmfao

I have. It's a bit quiet, but other than that, I haven't experienced any issues with it.

Mike, if you do go, let me know, maybe I can stop by on a good day but realistically I'd probably still want to go to 8otb after because I've had just about all the x3 I've wanted in my life, but if I wanted to see if the pads got any better someone else to share the disappointment with would be good incentive.
