To anyone who's been to the Philadelphia D&B: How strict are they on the age requirements? I know they're 21+ to get in by yourself and I'd like to go for my 20th birthday.
http://www.daveandbusters.com/location-content/locations/pa-philadelphia/Looks like if you are 20 you gotta leave after 10PM? NOt sure if they check I am not local to there
Islandia UPDATE 2016-07-21:
They finally have e-Amusement passes at the front desk for 5 dollars!

Can confirm that Philly D&B doesn't ask for age unless you go to the bar (and I didn't, so...) Also it was in the afternoon so I doubt they actually care before the evening anyway.
I ended up playing a round with SWAGMAN!, a player who has set very many records on the machine. He's a cool dude. Most of the other machines there seem to be in good shape - I'm surprised there's so little info on that arcade here.

Did a lot of music games this weekend! Stopped in at D&B at Times Square, but I didn't have a lot of time and there was a huge line. Felt good to see the community thriving. Went to Tri-County flea Market again today. Played some Pop'n Music but Beatmania IIDX is still dead. Also been playing a lot at Islandia D&B. Was surprised and happy to find out an old friend of mine is an arcade technician there now! He has been taking good care of the DDR machine, and is a long time fan like me.

I thought IIDX was fixed at Tri-County...guess the fixing of IIDX only lasted for a short time. Bummer.
At least Pop'n is working fine! I'm going to Tri-County really soon because I haven't played Pop'n in a while!

It's unfortunately still down, I haven't seen it up in so long. Pop'n is good though. Also the interactive animated movie game next to the Pop'n machine wasn't taking any quarters. At least Pop'n is working fine! I'm going to Tri-County really soon because I haven't played Pop'n in a while!

Hey, it was good seeing you on Saturday. The line was a bit long but manageable, it actually got a bit shorter as me and my friend were heading out. I cleared two new 15s, sightreads at that (Xepher Challenge and Night of Knights Expert). I'll probably stop by again not this weekend but the weekend after. I'm making my first trip to Round 1 this weekend.

Congrats Joe and sorry I didn't see you guys, on the way out from CTF I stuck my head in and there were 8-9 people in the line; can't say I really felt like waiting that long.
It is indeed exciting that the community's on the upswing, or at least it seems that way.

Just came back from playing DDR A at Dave & Buster's in Westbury. It...was...AWESOME!!!
The machine is still in Local Mode...no E-Amuse at the moment...
If you were at that D&B between 2-5:30 PM, you might've seen me. I wore a gray graphic T-shirt that said "LESS: crying, enemies, fighting, complaining; MORE: laughing, friends, happiness, gratitude", and I have curly brown hair.
I must say, it was so much fun! There were casuals who played the same few pop radio songs over and over again, which was a little annoying, but once it was my turn, people were staring in awe of me. I even improved - now I can clear songs up to level 11! Today was AWESOME and I definitely plan on playing again! Especially because I'm awaiting them to get E-Amuse!

Wow I am so glad to hear you had such a good time with DDRA at Westbury! I am actually glad to hear casuals are playing the game. I think it's good it starts off in the Pops category so passerbys who try the game will have songs they recognize. Let's hope they add more pop songs to add some variety in the future. THat's great you were able to move up to level 11 songs! I hope they get the system online there soon. The machine is still in Local Mode...no E-Amuse at the moment...

It does start in the Popular Songs category hence why so many casuals played those songs...
But it seems as if they all just did Shut Up And Dance!, Happy, and Break Free...

Yeah not surprised those are the most picked. That's just going to happen haha! Think of it this way the more you hear the song the better you will get at them. But it seems as if they all just did Shut Up And Dance!, Happy, and Break Free...

The closest D&B may not have DDR A... but it's great to hear the casual audience enjoys it! Can't wait to suddenly pull out Valkyrie dimension Difficult or something!
(Wait, you don't need PASELI to access old songs, do you?)

No PASELI used on DDRA. If you want to access EXTRA STAGE and songs you need an e-Amusement pass though(Wait, you don't need PASELI to access old songs, do you?)
9/15/2016 - I put up a hope and a prayer on the the D&B Reddit for them to fix the network issues for DDR at Westbury. https://www.reddit.com/r/DaveAndBusters/comments/52xkgl/ddr_a_network_issues_at_westbury/ We will see if anything comes for it for all my friends near Nassau County.

Nassau County gal right here! This made my DAY. I am hoping that it is fixed sooner than later, because me being unable to get eAmuse has been really bugging me. prince_david, I can't begin to thank you enough!!

Wait, did you just say... NO PASELI??? I cannot be more happy right now. What would make this even better is if The Break finally updated their cabinet to DDR A. Then I'd be able to play every DDR song I want, whenever I have the time!

Glad to help with this! Sounds like someone will have to talk the Amusement manager over there. I am not sure when I can get over to Westbury but if it's not resolved when I do I will try to talk to someone. HOPEFULLY this will get some kind of notice.Nassau County gal right here! I hope The Break gets DDR A too! Do they have upgrade kits available? It is too bad that in the US right now only Round 1 and D&B are getting legit machines. It would be great if independent places like 8 on the Break could get copies too.UPDATE: 2016-10-18 Went to Nassau County Long Island today. Westbury Dave & busters STILL is offline. I stopped over in Broadway Mall in Hicksville and saw that Round 1 is indeed under construction!

O.M.DOUBLE G!! As a Nassau County resident myself, I must say that I am TOO EXCITED for this arcade to open here! I can't wait to play IIDX, SDVX, MÚSECA, Pop'n Music, and hopefully GITADORA here when it opens!!
Heck, I'd even camp out at the Broadway Mall on the day before this place opens! That's how hyped I am!
