I remember I had image rips of the DDRMAX arcade and they had bgs, song banners for old songs from 5th mix below.

Anybody know what songs were supposed to be licensed on the arcade version of DDRMAX?

I...can't figure out what you are talking about.

Would you mind posting some more details?

I was always under the impression that DDRMAX was planned as a reboot since the beginning.

Also, I don't think that photo you've provided is 100% legitimate. I highly doubt that NORI NORI NORI ever ran at 100 BPM, had a maxed out freeze on the radar, or had a rainbow-esque banner, beta or not. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Notice the Freeze! is there when you step on the freeze arrow. also found on the ddrmax disc from what I remember.

I don't have the images anymore because my harddrive died, so I can't look at the nori nori nori banner, but I'm sure the beta had the IIDX exclusives if not some of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th songs.

I believe the songwheel pic is just a mockup.

Yes, I believe these were early mockups of the game that included songs (revivals) that never made it to the final release. A similar thing happened with SuperNOVA, where mockup screens showed crossovers from console games that never appeared in the final game.

It says the prototype had some old songs. I wonder what songs were in there?

Looks like the song titles have different fonts to me. Probably a fake.

Approximately nobody asked for this song to be included. Least popular decision by the Japanese since Nintendo released the Wii U.

That font was from DDR 5th Mix. I guess they didn't make new song title images.
