So the third pack is already underway, and we decided to open it up to the public for submissions. the judges, CondorTalon and I, will be judging every file being made to ensure the quality remains top notch for pad players from submissions.
For everyone planning to submit, please, for the love of god, read the rules first before submitting to ensure that it's okay to submit, as it will make it so much easier for everyone.

-Song must obviously be a song that uses Vocaloid in any shape or form (music-wise). I will not allow songs that are unrelated to the series, even if it had a video with Vocaloid characters in it.
-I forgot to add, but original vocaloid versions are highly preferred over covers, and in most cases, I would reject covers if it's just a vocaloid/utaite cover (music remains the same). Exceptions are remixes/arranges of the original (see: Giga-P's Electric Angel).
-Please try to keep the song shorter than 2:15 and longer than 1:15. We want r23 players to be able to play it as well. There are very few exceptions, such as keeping the story intact or having multiple vocaloids have the same song time as each other (ie. Electric Angel was kept uncut to keep the Rin, Len, and duo part).
-Please try to keep video sizes small, below 30mb IF YOU CAN and 640x480, but try to keep a moderate quality. Same goes for the song for quality audio. If you can't provide a video, I can do so myself.
-Song file MUST be in .ogg. You can easily convert it with Audacity.
-Every submission must have all difficulties charted from Beginner - Oni, but if you do not wish to add in lower or certain difficulties, I will be more than happy to add it in myself. This way even the more beginner players can play the files (there are certain events that happen that use my packs and a lot of beginners participate in them, believe it or not)
-Beginner must have MINIMAL TO NO HOLDS AND NO JUMPS OTHER THAN LEFT/RIGHT AND UP/DOWN.
-Also, NO SM5/SSC EXCLUSIVE FEATURES IN THE CHARTS (ie. warps (that are not negative BPMs), lifts, attack modes not in .xml, etc). The charts MUST work in OpenITG and SM3.95, therefore only steps, jumps, hands, holds, mines, and rolls. This is because this is catered to those with an ITG2 machine and want to play vocaloid songs in their USBs.
-We will be rating the charts with a Accepted or Rejected, based on mine and CondorTalon's opinion, along with my own personal comments to the files. If it is rejected, it does not mean you can't fix it and try again. I encourage it.
-That being said, the file will only be accepted to the pack entirely if EITHER CondorTalon and I accept it. We usually talk to each other as we know each other personally before one of us posts what is accepted or not.
-If you find that the final chart has been accepted BUT slightly modified by release do not take it too personally. We have the right to do so to try to optimize the file's potential, (ie. fix very minor doublesteps that doesn't ruin the file as a whole)
-The file may be released publicly as a single, but not in any form of a collaborative pack. You may do so after the pack is released though if that pack allows it.
-Also, you MAY NOT step and submit a chart that has already been stepped in the previous two packs. Since it's part of the series, it'd be weird to have 2 of the same songs stepped differently..
-Please try to avoid having people submit the same song. However, if it's reasonable to do so (ie skeletons are similar), we will try to merge the charts in a way we feel will keep the spirit of both submissions. Please try not to have this happen too often, though, as it just creates more work for both of us.
-All files must include a cdtitle of the person who stepped it. BUT PLEASE, FOR GOD'S SAKE, MAKE IT REASONABLE. I DON'T WANT ANOTHER TPP3 NINJAFOXX CDTITLE, AND KEEP IT CONSISTENT FOR EVERY FILE.
-For the song artists, please use the producer's/artist's name along with "feat. [vocaloid]" (you replace vocaloid with whatever Vocaloids that's being used). We will go with the "Last Name First Name" format for consistency sake.
-If there are artists that have multiple aliases "ie Rin/Ginsuke/Ocelot" (yes these are all names for one producer), stick with the name that the producer/artist went with for that specific song.
-All stepfiles MUST have a BANNER that is 418x164 and the BACKGROUND that is 640x480 (these are ITG dimensions). We can add those in ourselves if you can't.
-PLEASE TRY TO LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF SONGS YOU'RE SUBMITTING BY THE SAME ARTIST. I had problems with this in the Touhou Pad Pack series. (TPP3 had too many Kishida Kyoudan songs, while TPP4/5 had all these Rolling Contact songs, THANKS CONDORTALON). This is so we have space for other producers as well.
-DOUBLES CHARTS ARE COMPLETELY OPTIONAL, but the file must have at least full singles, so if you want to do doubles charts, you must either add full singles or you can add some to files that are already accepted. Or if I like the song enough I MAY add full singles to it.
All submissions should be sent either to vocaloidpadpack3@gmail.com, or through PMs in here (the former is much preferred though).
Any questions can be asked in this thread and highly encouraged to keep it in this thread.
