Yeah, I've noticed that the timing is ridiculous (especially compared to Technika Tune). I'm glad the game is here, though.

Is the game requiring anybody else to be ridiculously precise? Sometimes when I tap on a note, the game doesn't register it as hit.
I'm using an iPad Air on iOS 7.1

If by registering a hit you mean at least MAX 1%, then no, it's not ridiculous at all. It's within 200ms of registering a hit. Considering it works in both directions of time, you have almost half a second to hit a note. Maybe it's the iPad Air.

Removed my jailbreak just to play this, timing does feel really strict though.

Has anyone had any issues with purchases? I tried purchasing 750 Q and received no indication of the transaction being successful in the game, however the charge appeared on my credit card statement. I waited three days just to see if maybe the game required the transaction to clear first, but still nothing. I just tried again for the amount of 10 Q and this time I received a message stating "unable to purchase item" even though this transaction also appeared on my statement. How are people actually buying things?

Hello. I'm new here and this my first post. May I know on what calibration setting do you people think is the most accurate? I set it in 40 ms but it still feels a bit off. And I'm playing it on tablet because I keep getting stuck in Checking App screen when on Ipad. Anyone else experiencing the same? I like how the screen looks long on tablet but it is laggy with BGA ang Note Sound FX.
P.S. Help me get 60 Q please I'll help y'all, too. Here's my friend code: Cp4Xe.

How do you change the calibrations for delay on your devices? I have a friend who has an Android phone and he about a 300ms delay, give or take 50ms. Also, that's not a number that I pulled out of thin air. I thoroughly tested it using math and my knowledge as a musician. If anybody is curious I can explain how I did it, although it's quite complicated.

@Rekeah : The only thing I've done was changing the calibration on in-game settings, and then I can easily get 95-97% acc.
I wonder if it depends on the device (mine's android as well), or every android devices have that delay.
Anyway, how do you find those numbers? I'm intrigued.

I got this issue as well. I bought 60 Q and it said unable to purchase item. Tried again same thing. Closed game and tried buying 10 Q, it worked. However, I also was charged for the 2 60 Q purchased I attempted to make earlier.

Hello, I'm relatively new here, and I just wanted to point out a glitch that I encountered. This happened when I switched from Technika to Reflec Beat, and then to Jubeat (though it probably doesn't matter what app you switch it to in any case). I was in the music select menu, and I tapped on SuperSonic. I use an iPad 3.

Well at least you could play. My DJMax app on ipad finally got past the Checking App thing but when I get on the Song Select menu, I see NO SONGS. The store is also void of any items to buy, my level is blank and the teasers for the "new songs" (not that they are) on the main menu are blank. ;( T_T

I've had this happen to me as well. Technika Q can be real fussy if you swap between apps while it's running, especially ones like games that take up a lot of memory. The glitch in the picture you posted in purely visual though. Just close and reopen the app, and you should be all set.

Sounds like your game might be missing a few files. Have you tried restarting and/or reinstalling the app? Also, do you have a PMang plus account? You need one participate in the rankings, so if you don't have one, that might explain why your level is blank.

It looks like a need a mid-range Android tablet in a hurry, so getting one that will run Tecknika flawlessly seems like a priority ^^;
Has anyone experienced it running on :
Tesco Hudl
Advent Vega Tegra Note
8gb Kindle Fire HD (I realise this may be awkward)

You need to have a great understanding of rhythm. Memorize how long a second is supposed to last. Understand the relationship between the beats within a second and how it relates to other time signatures.
I picked In the Tdot for this experiment, since my friend didn't buy any songs and I needed a song that will most closely resemble hitting a constant beat in a consistent manner. For example, the perfect experiment would be a song being played at 60 beats per minute and every note only comes from the main beat itself, the quarter note. Then from there I picked the easiest difficulty and I restarted over and over again to get the same pattern of easy beats. I had to experiment with hitting the notes exactly on the beat, and then off slightly to the left and right, or early and late respectively. If I tried to hit the note on the beat of the song, I would simply miss entirely.
Basically I don't really want to explain in detail how I did it since this is best explained in a video or in person since it's complicated and I need to make sure you're following me, but this is what I did:
Let's say In the Tdot is 102bpm. If I played an eighth note early on every hit, I would achieve 100% MAX. Obviously the window of 100% MAX changes with the bpm of the song, so the window of error lies within the bpm of not only 102, but however the game reads that number, with the only clue being the speed of the line moving across the screen (the game could read it as 51, or 204, etc.) and how many "beats" fill up one section of the screen. For example, if I tried this experiment with Ask to Wind (live mix), I would get much more accurate results.
Anyway, since I played an eighth early and got 100% MAX from when it used to be a complete miss, I can deduce that the delay is at least the same length of an eighth note of a rhythm going at 102bpm. 1 second = 1,000 milliseconds. Eighth note difference in song = 1 beat in 204bpm. 204 beats per minute divided by the number of seconds in a minute = 3.4. 1,000ms divided by 3.4 = 294ms.
The delay is about 300ms, give or take 50ms which accounts for not only the window of 100% MAX in a song that has a slow moving line, but also human error on my part, which starts when I assume the eighth note difference is exact from the start.
Before I started doing all this, I guessed his device was off from the beat of the music by about 300ms ;p
It helps that I have experience detecting lag from computer games and Stepmania.
EDIT: Also, I'm a music major. Doing stuff like this are things I actually do in class.

I have a question. I haven't dared to try buying Q points yet (due to some people are saying about them not showing up after being bought) and there I saw there is a charge option after you touch the purchase button at the shop and I'm curious, can you just buy the songs with actual money credit instead of buying Q points?

In short, you're unable to buy songs directly; Q points act as the game's "premium currency" as it were, and because of this your only option for spending real money is buying points, unfortunately. As for the 'charge' option you mentioned, tapping it doesn't give the option to pay directly for music packs/characters/etc. Instead, it just brings you to the page of the store that you buy Q/MAX points from.

Have a Vita? get Tune.
Despite of it's expensive price ($45 on US PSN iirc), it's still cheaper than Technika Q.

Hello, everyone, it's been a while.
Currently I'm Lv 35 at TQ Int'l. Here's what I observed:
-They nerfed the Lv 10 Anti Break item, that it now only does MAX 1% on 10 missed beats... Oops, seems it still does MAX 100% xD
-You can buy songs with your Google Play/iTunes account, for me, I used Google Play store credits since I had it on my account.
-No more gifting....waste of Q
Oh well, that's what I've seen so far.
Btw: Does anyone know a perfect calibration for a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2?
