What the Music Genre favorite?

i like K-Pop, J-Pop, and Indonesian-Pop

anything that sounds good to me at the time though i mostly listen to anything japanese

I've pretty much listened to video game music all my life. Recently though in the past few years, I've really gotten into psytrance (mainly full-on), J-Core, and electro. I guess video game music would still be my favorite genre though.

I mostly listen to metalcore and pop-punk, though I'll listen to pretty much anything as long as it sounds good to my ears.

I also listen to a wide range of stuff, from the Yoshida Brothers to Avenged Sevenfold to Jurassic 5 to Aki Akane (which is a wide range by herself). I do tend to favor rock though. It certainly makes up the majority of my main playlist.

(but in general I'll listen to a lot of stuff, every genre has it's good and bad points for me)

I don't really mind most music as long as it's not sad or soppy.
I really like Eurobeat and Hardcore. I think I'd really like J-Pop as well.

I can generally find something that I like in every music genre (when I say genre, I mean real genre, not BEMANI genres).

I love electronic music in general, but my favorites are Eurobeat, Psytrance, Hardcore, Eurobeat, Speedcore, Eurobeat and Eurobeat.

Hardcore techno and some dubstep. What.

Anything that isn't j-pop, k-pop, eurobeat, happy rainbow beat. Too tasteless, imo.

I'm into a lot of punk and hardcore music but since I play a lot of DDR I seem to have gotten into techno and dubstep lately too.

I can't say one particular type of music is my fave. I do have phases or flavors of the month. At work I have to play something work appropriate like love songs from the 70s and 80s (one of my faves), in the car it's dance music. Then in the house I like to research older more forgotten pop songs.

Did you go through that phase where you were like "I love playing DDR BUT I CANNOT BE CAUGHT DEAD LIKING THE MUSIC FROM IT BECAUSE IT'LL RUIN MY IMAGE OF BEING 'NOT MAINSTREAM'" or whatever?

Because that's exactly what happened to me. But then I stopped thinking like a 12 year old and now I actually legitimately enjoy a lot of DDR/Bemani music, in addition to all of the pop-punk/metalcore/hardcore etc bands I already like.
